  • Yeah the new Burrowed Time perk needs to be stronger. They should add an additional effect for the perk so it becomes worth a perk slot.

Insidious really should get the lethal treatment like stated by some people just have it linger undetectable timers by 5 extra seconds I guarantee itll be used a lot as a solo perk with some addon combinations. And that whispers would be good with 10% for the m1 killers.

YEAH! This will encourage new playstyles and I'm all in for it. (Got bored of using gen slowdown perks only)

A lot of good changes, however, I feel like whispers should give 10% haste instead of 5%. Personally, one thing I enjoyed from the Krasue ptb that never made it to live was low mobility killer haste when you hook someone new. I personally feel like this should be a base mechanic still as it would help killers like trapper and them a lot do things killers like Blight can do and that’s moving across the map quickly. I feel like it should be strongly considered to increase this to 10% so killers such as trapper can make progress much faster and catch up to the action like how high mobility killers can to shorten the gap more.

I agree with this it should be more than 5%! It won't be OP because the Haste will be gone once you are close to any survivors (24m) and it won't be that useful for killers with high mobility anyway because their movement abilities make them around survivors most of the time. If the Haste gets increased I'll fix M1 immobile killers and we'll be finally seeing them more.

I mean it still enhances the strongest set of perks in the game so it's still VERY good. It's just no longer completely overtuned reducing nearly EVERY negative status effect that wasn't an infinite duration.

Imagine having a perk that makes you recover from MANY negative status effects (Hindered, Exposed, Exhausted, Blindness, Haemorrhage, Broken, Mangled, and Oblivious) by 66%. That's a HUGE effect and it doesn't even work on you only it also works on ALL survivors 16m from you. not just that even if the survivor leaves outside the 16m it still lingers 15 seconds for them.

Imagine having all that just by using one perk slot and survivors still have 15 slot left btw (don't forget that survivors have 16 perk slots and the killer has 4 perk slots in a single match). I know my comment will probably get down-voted by Vigil users and Survivor mains because they can't just accept the fact that Vigil is a really unhealthy perk for the game idek how devs let it be like that for years. It ruins many Killer powers, Add-ons, and builds like imagine Freddy or Clown bring an exposed build (Hubris, dragon's grip etc) wasting their 4 perk slots risking playing with a different playstyle strategy with no slowdown gen perks. One single perk slot(Vigil) ruins their power, their build strategy and it just makes the game over for them so they feel forced to tunnel or slug more. it just creates MANY other unhealthy scenarios.

The new Vigil version faster recover from exhaustion for ALL survivors not just yourself isn't gonna be a terrible perk not making it F or D tier but yeah it won't be an S tier anymore and ofc its pick rate will decrease which is okay if it was unhealthy. It's a big nerf because we're comparing it to the broken unhealthy version but if the perk just got released with a new character we wouldn't say it's a terrible perk.

How about waiting if this actually affects Killers? I mean, I know that some people want to jump on global Killer Buffs right away, I have seen some people already say that all SoloQ Teams will now play like highly coordinated SWFs (lol). In the end, the impact will probably be minimal.

It is good and since it is not mandatory to use and it cannot be used to spam, it is only positive. But it will not change that the Meghead is inefficient as hell. Or that one dude is only running after the Killer with a Flashlight (while failing every Save). Or similar things.

The impact might be minimal in low-MMR matches, but in mid/high MMR, I doubt it won't have a significant positive impact on skilled survivors who know how to manage their time efficiently.

It's a great feature, and I'm all for it. All I'm pointing to is killers need some attention, especially weaker, less mobile ones like Ghost Face and Trapper for example. They could get some buffs or even QoL changes and nerf other OP killers .since it will become even harder to manage the map with the current pallet density, large maps, and gen rushing as immobile weak ones. If killers keep getting weaker, the game will gradually lose its horror and survival feel, because killers are supposed to be scary and powerful (I'm not a killer main. I play both roles equally and just sharing my opinion <3)

  • That's going to help Survivors use their time much more efficiently by wasting less time—for example, leaving a Generator to go for an unhook on the other side of the map because you thought no one else was going for the save, among many other scenarios. You can also tell your team to focus more on Generators. Really good, healthy feature overall :)

However, it should be noted that wasting less time through communication will affect Killers negatively, as Survivors will use the saved time to progress objectives more, such as repairing Generators and healing, resulting in faster Gen progress and shorter games. QoL features are welcome, but Killers should get something too, especially already weak killers if it affects them negatively.

Edit: Looks like survivor mains aren't happy about this XD

Yeah idk how difficult it is to look at least used perks and just number buff them. If dark devotion already has 45 seconds in the code. Is it that difficult to go in and make it 50 for instance? I would think thats very easy to do 1 person could even do it. Like the doctor shock thing wasnt even much of a animation change we talking 0.05 so lol. If they even just did that id be happy. And they get 3 months to do this. It just feels like miss management if they cant have someone at least number tweaking.

Yeah they can even make some balance adjustments on bug fix patches every 1-2 weeks instead of waiting 8-12 weeks...

There are no plans to have live design changes during new content release - history has shown us that this is more problematic in getting feedback on new content as well as the changes.

That's probably because of that Krasue PTB, which introduced live design changes that fundamentally alter core gameplay mechanics (anti-tunneling and anti-slugging) but releasing new content without any balance adjustments risks stagnating the meta, which can lead to boredom and burnout among your veteran player base.

As a veteran player, I can say that the game desperately needs consistent balance adjustments to keep the gameplay fresh and healthy. For long-term players, major live design updates and game health are more important than just receiving new content.

To achieve this, I suggest the following approach for your patch cadence:

    • New Content Releases: Focus on some numerical tweaks for killers and perks, alongside universally welcomed Quality-of-Life (QoL) features. These are safe, non-controversial updates that the community agrees the game needs, and they should accompany every new content release to prevent the meta from feeling stagnant.
    • Mid-Chapter Updates: Reserve core, game-changing design overhauls (like the recent anti-tunneling/slugging changes in the Krasue PTB) exclusively for mid-chapters.
  • Yeah please bring it back…

  • if anyone knows how to fix that i'll be grateful <3

  • I'm living in Egypt and my ping is the biggest problem for me. I love the game and I spend money in it but I don't enjoy much time because of ping issues and latency because of servers... Please do something. Thanks!
