Dead by Daylight is not "Pay to Win". It is "Pay to Play More".
If you buy some survivors/killers you will have perks that will give you more match time to get a little amount of bloodpoints.
I am pretty sure that "Pay to Play on Anticheat Protected Servers" could be on the table because money is the only thing that matters.
I agree that trying to balance things with perks behind a paywall is a really unscrupulous BeHaViouR.

Just remember that BHVR abandoned a nice game: Deathgarden: BLOODHARVEST. I bought some licensed DbD DLCs and now I think that BHVR will do the same. I just wasted my money.

Hiding player levels at the post-game score window was the only way that BHVR considered to avoid bad MMR threads and complains instead of solving the problem, maybe. Just my opinion.

RPD seems to be a good map for 2 or 3 killers at the same time.

3 SWF and 1 solo joined a match. One SWF got hooked and the 2 SWF run to the hook. The killer was kinda campy and now there are 2 SWF on dying state and 1 hooked, also there are 4 gens left and the solo person is like "wth"... IMO that SWF won't deserve to leave the gates alive.

Report the other 3 survivors for not repairing the gens and game hostage. The killer didn't body block the 4 survivors.

3 red ranks add a purple rank to the SWF. They will be playing against a purple or a gren killer. I see this a lot.

I was playing as killer at rank 7, against 3 red ranks and a purple. I like to play MM without raising Evil Within because this is really fun to catch survivors off guard and trying mindgames with them. They were running to unhook others so it was easy to hit them. There was a moment when I could hook 1 survivor and slug 2 of them and I decided to find the last one using Whispers. They just completed 2 generators and then the ones on floor DCed. The last survivor escaped.
In the Match Score window I could see that the ones that DCed were 2 PC red ranks (ranks 1 and 2), the PC purple escaped and the Console rank 3 died on hook. Then one of the DCed started the toxicity chat, telling me that my mom could be really proud of the score and that score should be on the fridge door. I was devastated for that insult and just when I could stop crying I told her that DCed people should be quiet because those just didn't play the game as they should. I saw her Steam profile full of -REP 2018/19/20 comments about DCing even being the first one on ground.
She told me that reporting that unsportsman like behaviour will be nothing, that nothing will happen and she will DC everytime she want.
The DC penalty should be more agressive for those that hit the Leave Match Button more than 3 times in a day, disable the chat and spectating feature for the DCers.
DCing people should be paired to play with DCing flagged ones, so they will be far from people that play the game as is intended 💖.

The Nurse is a fantastic killer, unlike the Doctor (jokes 😁). I really like Nurses no matter if they are really good or bad. I respect players that decide to play the Nurse. She is a killer that heavily punish you if you miss a hit or fail a blink but once you play cool and think what you are doing (no matter if the survivors finished 3 gens in less than 2 minutes) she rewards you like no other killer. I remember that I almost cried of joy when I could gen grab 2 survivors in the same match (they survived anyway 🤣).

Sometimes is like all the other people said: "Altruism". And sometimes is because you are playing with your friends or you are just a kind person and you don't want them to be frustrated and let them die in their first hook. Camping takes all the fun for survivors and also generator rushing and survivors toxicity takes all the fun to killers 😔

I don't blame the devs for all the problems that DbD owns (bad servers sync, broken hitboxes, bad matchmaking, stuck character bugs, bad anti cheat software, DC penalties on serves DC or game crashes, horrible map reworks with insane FPS drops, no FX and aspect change video options, no options to disable playing against survivor SFW, not enough killer camping / tunneling penalties, shadownerfs, unprofessional PC/console testing before releasing content, etc etc).
I blame the person who thinks that releasing paid content instead fixing the problems is a better idea (giving some skins for free on h'ween was like a gentle and nice tradition). All of this is like a snowball effect and many players are tired of this bad BHVR company behaviour.
I feel bad for those people that are getting all the rage or being negatively affected when they aren't responsible (the twitter person, the art team, the sound team, some forum mods, etc).

I run this game like 120 FPS before the first maps upgrade. Having this at the Steam store and not supporting it sounds kinda illegal then.
That "Maybe it's time for you to upgrade your potato pc" seems inappropriate for a +18 years old community / game.
Edit: Wow, they changed the Windows 7 Support. This must be illegal in some countries, like changing a contract and agreement without a way of refund after 2 hours of gameplay.

When they fixed the last FPS problem, I got some stuff from the store thinking that the Devs learned how to fix the game that they made. I wanted to buy like 3 or 4 DLC for h'ween but now with all this bad map releases that mess the FPS, I don't want to buy something that I won't be able to play because all the frame drops :(

Credits to Devs just when they start to care about the game that they made, specially with FPS and servers optimization. The game is not free.

Facing spaghetti code that the devs don't even know how to fix for years must be a real challenge. I hope that they could fix something 🙏

Devs are milking the Unreal Engine 4.13 and trying to "overhaul" a game that keeps a lot of bugs from years ago. The game is being ridicusly enhanced with stuff that clearly is not working with the lack of professional knowledge about hardware optimization, without considering that BHVR sold this game to run with minimal specs that are not being supported right now and this "product" is still being sold with those minimal specs (on Steam). "jUsT BUy a nEw cOMpUTeR" some say, but that's not a solution in the adult world even when there are people with nice hardware being affected too. The map design could be upgraded and all the textures and effects could be released with a "HD Textures DLC" thing.
Unnecesary changes, ignoring the DbD community, lack of community pools or feedback, cosmetics over optimization, ignoring the cheating problem, that is how many games lost and lose playerbase.
