Thanks for all of the responses. I think I'll keep working at it, and just try to come to terms with the nasty killer players who face camp u in the basement. Pfft!

Ok, so I looked up what MMR is and... how do I check that? Is there somewhere I can find out how they rank me? I can understand that if I play with one of my friends who is really good at looping the killer how that might put me in a higher match, right? But that still wouldnt explain playing with randos....
As I said, I guess I'll just keep trying.

you both made good points, as well. After i'm dead, I usually spectate to see what happens, and I do see the survivors being obnoxious. And tbh, when I play killer for my dailies (which I suck at even worse than survivor) they figure out pretty quickly how bad I am and get really really mean about it. Sometimes they quit gens altogether to just humiliate me, so to speak. lol (I really am bad most of the time hahaha) And even if I try to play nice killer, the jackwagons then want to blind me with flashlights and be ungrateful. So yeah, I get that. (but I have played a few good games as killer and not sucked at all. it's just not the norm for me. :D)
I'll suck it up and just try...

Well, my name is from my given name, which is Cynthia. It's a nickname or shortened version of it. So, not so astonishing after all. We do exist. (Although I'm a little disappointed in the attitude of the other Cyn, if that is from Cynthia as well. Kinda bad for our name all the way around :/ )

That's what trust comes into the thread, you're probably trying to lie about Killers camping when in fact, you're high MMR, tbagging every single Killer after looping them for 5 gens easily.

I am pretty sh*t at survivor, very probably low MMR, and no matter the Killer I face they never face camp.
In my whole playtime, I only faced one single facecamping Bubba, surprisingly it was funny cause I tricked him into wasting his chainsaw with a fake unhook before coming back for the true unhook.
Everyone says they see facecamping killers, but that's only at high MMR I'm sure of that.
What does Trust have to do with anything here? How does TRUST play into this thread?
As for skill, I think I'm pretty bad as a survivor. If the killer comes after me, I AM going to get hooked. I can't loop him to save my dbd life. I've watched videos and it looks so easy, but it really isn't. I get campers probably about 90% of the time now, and I've only been playing since last October. That doesn't mean I won't try to save my teammates, even if it means certain death for me, but at least if it gets to that point, I will have had time to play a little and feel like it was a bit of fun. The camping and tunneling seemed to amp up around the end of December or first of January, so I put it down to people being extremely unhappy over the holidays. Now that we're into Spring, I think I can safely conclude it had nothing to do with the Holidays.
Just consider yourself lucky and grind for your BP's while it lasts.

So what I am reading is that if you are a really skilled player, the game is actually fun. Whelp, that leave me out, I guess. I can't seem to get in enough gameplay to actually 'practice', and therefore I still suck. Thanks for that. :)
