There is no Q&A at the moment, usually when a Q&A is active it'll be posted in the notifications above where you see such things as the 3.6.0 PTB for example.

Also, this notification is above whenever you enter this sub-forum "Please note: Although we may stop by occasionally, this is not a developer Q&A."

So, this isn't the place to really ask things like that if you're looking for a quick answer, since the devs might stop by to answer but they might not. Right now there isn't a solid answer that anyone from the community can give on this question at this time, since we barely know any information about the possibility of cross-play with console at this time.

    Also a side-note

Usually when a Q&A is active, it focuses on that chapter specifically or whatever it's about. Unless the Q&A is an open one, than it's unknown if they'll answer that specific question unfortunately.

I wouldn't worry about it right now.

Thank you, that was a very concise answer and suggestion. I really want to play on PC buy I also have a job so catching up on all of the time I have spent on Xbox would be roughhhh.

I really hope this was a bug because I'm sick of this. I'm hate playing with newbies. Goes for survivor and killer, I want to play with people who have to same skill as me or who are more experienced because that's a challenge.

The new rank reset best come back because I hate being with low rank players.

^ agreed. If you are red rank, after reset go back to purple. If you are purple go back to green. Green to yellow, yellow to brown. (1-4=5) (5-8=9) (9-12=13) (13-16=17) Also Bloodpoints and rank should be cross platform. There is no satisfaction when you are a rank 1 killer on Xbox then want to switch to PC. You have literally no progression for your time spent in game and poor low rank survivors get wrecked by a "new" player. Love this game, just want to be able to play on PC and not start over, be able to have a full time job, AND keep consistant red rank so my games aren't dull.

  • Bloodpoints should be shared across all platforms at the very least IMO. If you want to switch from one platform to another you should be able to log on and have the amount of bloodpoints that you have earned on the other available to spend. How am I supposed to feel motivated to play if the 10 days of game experience has literally achieved nothing for me in the new version. If bloodpoints cross progression was implemented I might actually want to buy the same killer/survivor for the same game with the same perks and the same experience. At least then the amount of time you have played the game as a whole wouldn't be wasted.

I think cross progression / cross-play will be something they'll announce during the Year 5 Livestream. It's been in two seperate surveys now, there's been some naughty PC players who have been able to force themselves onto the PS4 servers and played along side console players.

Only a matter of time I think.

I didn't know that.. Interesting. TBH I could care less about cross play. It would be really cool to play with my console buddies while I am on PC, but it isn't something I am avid about.

It is the situation where you just get home from work and you want to play some DBD and you only have like 2 or 3 hours to play. You could

    A. Play a game where you can get 60,000 bp guaranteed as a killer with bbq, Or get into a survivor game with 4 teir 3 perks and an item

    B. Play a game where you have no choice but to have 1 tier one perk and won't have any teachables whatsoever. Net 32,000 bp on killer or survivor max.

IMO the game is way better on PC. I hit great skill checks way more, graphics are better, framerates are wayy better, etc. But I have just already put too much time in on Xbox to switch.

  • I agree completely. Haven't they done something where users had lost progress during an update and they refunded them the bloodpoints? I feel like it wouldn't be that much different then making BP the one thing that is shared across platforms. Something like that would make me happy. That way at the very least the TIME you have spent in the game isn't wasted.

  • Obviously the dream is full cross progression, but if that is just not an option then at the very least let bloodpoints earned be available across platforms. I don't want the devs to take cross progression off of their radar just because there may be a real and legitimate reason that they can't make certain parts of the game transfer. The reason I said bp is my favorite option is because it is the most realistic option that also would do nothing but help the community. It can't be that hard to make how much bp you have earned in DBD be one number across all platforms. Play xbox for a month, then go back to pc and be able to try a different killer because you have some bp saved up. win win. :)
