  • It's not necessarily survivors but rather their perks. Jane's Head-on can be fun, Tapp's Detective's Hunch could pair well with your Nancy's Inner Strength, Cheryl's Soul Guard can be really helpful in some situations, etc. If I were you, I'd do some research on the perks and see what strikes your fancy.

Killers on the other hand, you can watch some videos to help get an idea of what playstyle you think would be fun. Personally I main P-head and Myers, but a lot of people like the range and versitility of other killers such as huntress, nurse, etc. Or you can be a rush-down character like oni or blight.

Tl;dr check survivor perk lists and watch some killer gameplay

  • Saloon is basically an infinite too, so many options on the building for survivor

  • That's an insane amount of time for 1 year, that means your were playing for over 4 months no breaks. Nice feat though!

They aren't gonna say it but this is what they meant by console optimization. There's no point in getting the game ready for a console generation that's at the end of its lifespan. They were preparing for the next gen the entire time.

That's not a very good tactic to employ, the next gen is gonna have limited consumers and the current gen still has plenty of life left. I think they're deathslinging themselves in the foot if they dont think there's gonna be a wider audience still on current gens for a while

  • All of you keep making the argument "if you tunnel i'm gonna tbag" which is fine, but don't sit here and act like it's always eye for an eye. I agree with OP, I constantly get tbagged anytime someone makes it to the gate, and I purposefully don't tunnel bc I play both sides and know it sucks. I honestly just think survivors have a "this killer was an ######### and I outplayed him" mentality just bc the objective of being a killer is to knock you out of the game. Just like your objective is to keep me from doing that.

Tl;Dr I agree with OP bc survivors always do it regardless of how killer played

  • I like to run self care with resiliance, maybe spine chill as well, that way I can 99% myself and keep my speed bonuses. Then when the killer comes, I tap myself to be able to take a hit and get outta there

  • He's absolutely busted at The Meat Plant, he can hit you basically anywhere on the map. I'd love for his AOE shock to just stick to whatever floor he's on, it shouldn't be able have a reach vertically

Remove the Hatch from the game. Once the last Survivor is left the Exit Gates are powered and start to open themselves a third as effectively as a Survivor, completely opening themselves after 60 seconds (Time might be too long or short?). The Exit Gates' Auras are permanently revealed to the Survivor as well as the Killer.

My reasoning for wanting a change is hatch haunting is unfun RNG for both sides IMO. These changes remove some of the power from the Survivor up front by removing the RNG free escape, but give them more power against Killers that camp the exit gates. Forces the Killer to haunt for the Survivor and forces the Survivor to come up with a plan to escape. Requiring more thinking ahead on both sides.

What do you guys think of my idea? I'd love to hear your guys' ideas or if you even think Hatch needs to be changed.

    Also how about this:

Lockers can not spawn within 36 meters of the exits. I think that could help nerf the survivors ability to camp

This could be a cool idea, if that were the case I'd totally run diversion and try for the mindgames!

Looks like a hack. There was a killer using something similar on Dave18's stream. Basically it's a hack that makes it look like you're lagging but you can tell it's not a lag switch because he's clearly speedhacking at 0:26.

This isn't the first time I've seen stuff like this either. I don't know what's happening, but I swear in the past week I've seen more people that I am suspect of cheating than ever

  • Dead End:

After 6 successful hooks, Dead End activates. When the last generator is repaired, the entity will block the exit panels for 20/25/30 seconds.

I think this is definitely a stretch, taking the logic and reasoning which I have applied to Pyramid Head very specifically and put them onto killers that are in much better positions balance and more specifically to this conversation design wise, like Doctor. For these killers, those powers, and other situations, I think such changes are just not necessary, and would very much be an over-reach.

And I agree that it wouldn't make sense to apply it to all the killers, but that's kind of my point. Why would only PH get nerfed bc of doing his ranged attack, meanwhile any other killer in that situation would still have their ranged attack land. Huntress could still hatchet you if you were vaulting, for example. It seems like it would make him absolute garbage if his one good move got nerfed, ESPECIALLY if the scenario only applied to him.

  • My only problem with that is that I think that should have to affect everything. Like you said, the survivor has no means of defense, so why would only p-head feel a nerf? Doctor can't zap you, killers shouldn't be able to hit you, the only thing left is to be able to grab the survivor in the animation. And then the survivor can just slide back and forth until you leave them alone. I think the fact that you're thinking about it is awesome, I just don't think this may be the best of solutions.

  • If everyone on here agrees that there's like 3-5 killers that are better than him, why is he even being touched? He's got a couple hard-counter tools and that's it. Changing his cage mechanics is dumb, it's not like he gets it for free, you have to be afflicted first. And there's plenty of perks and add-ons that let you see where he leaves the trail. And I feel like people are downplaying the fact that his ability goes in a STRAIGHT LINE in front of him, not to mention the cooldown on the attack. Idk I main him but I'm fairly new to the game, I feel like there's far more janky ######### than him right now
