The fact is that new users who came in through Epic Games are leaving again, astonished by the MMR. This is a fact that can be confirmed with the naked eye.

GRADES (killer/survivor) IS NOT YOUR RANK
You can derank to the ash mmr but your GRADE RANK stays the same. Its so confusing for everyone but this is how it works. Your mmr , in other word, skill is hidden and nobody knows how it truly works. Turn platform crossover off to have somewhat fair matches
We make the principle of familiarity with everything shown. Don't know why so many companies go backwards if they don't have marketability when they first develop unfamiliar things with good ideas? All world famous games are based on rank. Familiar users know that rank is meaningless and matching depends on MMR, but new users who enter for the first time simply judge by rank. I also tested MMR through Epic Games. Currently, many new users have been introduced for free, but there have been many articles about matching before, and now there are many more and many new users are leaving. Developers are losing their minds, and more importantly, the seriousness of this problem is being buried by the very few users who praise MMR. Take a look, you will find out if my words are wrong or correct by looking at the future direction. By the time you find out, you'll realize that it's already too late.
-
If MMR is maintained until the end, the future of this game is already decided. Even now, in our country, we are against MMR and we are deleting the game. This has been verified in our community where thousands of people use it.

I like MMR.
It forced a lot of players to realize the ugly truth about how they play the game.
- If you complain that all you have are nonstop bad Survivors, then you weren't that good or your MMR would have placed you higher.
- If you complain that all you get are tryhard sweatsquads, then as a Killer you got overly used to pubstomping.
- If you complain you see a ton of hackers, you know you are in high MMR.
People that liked the old system just enjoyed kicking around weaker players. That is all MMR has done - reduce the number of weaker players you face. And in the aftermath we just have a slew of "But what about my mad looping skillz there's more to skill than escaping reeeeee".
To which my response is "If your looping skills are that god tier, you should have zero problems breaking the killer's ankles and moonwalking out the exit gate every game. GG."
Your words have word order.
Did you enjoy matches with weak players?
So, as you said, is this game a game where if you're a survivor, you're killed by a killer, and if you're a murderer, you have to free all the survivors? I'm a 5,000 hour user, over 10,000 people over 90% of our nationality are discussing opposition to the MMR system in their large community, and even our partner streamers say the MMR system is the worst patch. Where do you think the pros and cons of MMR will be higher?
Director Matthew is fully aware of the objections of the MMR, but ruthlessly ignores our views. This is for sure. If you look at the feedback on the official website and the general discussion forum, you can see that there is a lot of opposition to MMR, which has been going on for several months without any feedback. We're just Maruta... so it's clear that more and more players are leaving the game. This is not a statistic, but a visible one, and the reason for leaving is also shared. In addition, in response to questions from new users, retired players are urged not to use the game. How many concurrent users do you think there will be in the next few months?
-
The biggest victims of MMR are players below the Red Rank.
-
Rather than casual clothes, I think that more scary clothes should be updated to fit the genre of this game. I'm afraid the game will go the other way in the costume. More brutal, more terrifying and more provocative outfits should be released. Excluding collaboration characters.
-
Do you believe they will recognize these numerous issues and revert to the old ranked match system?
It's been several months since the MMR patch and I don't even see the comments of many users pointing out the problem.
they are too stubborn What will the future be like?
-
They play for a while, but not like us. If you're a gamer, you've already figured out the issue after the MMR patch and have either improved it or reverted it.
However, if it is determined that there is no notice or action
It is understood that they are ignoring the problems raised by numerous communities and official websites because they cannot feel them.
-
A class system must exist.
Ranking is another symbol of mine in the game.
It is an identity that is shown to others based on my skills.
That's why many fighting games use a rank system and match play based on rank.
It is maintained and passed on as a tradition.
For now, we recommend introducing a new system for Dead by Day, but
It was patched too early and many reject it.
Developers do not feel the urgent need to withdraw this patch.

High MMR killers are drastically leaving but on the surv side its more or less the same, sbmm actually makes the surv gameplay more enjoyable and fair but for killer is frustrating
That's a very bad idea.
Both Killer and Survivor are match-unbalanced.
Due to the asymmetry of 4:1, the killer may feel that the match is unbalanced, but even in the case of survivors, two upper tiers and two lower tiers are tied together to match the killer's MMR.
If so, the two upper tier survivors can easily feel like a killer.
Two lower tier survivors play a very difficult game.
From my point of view, your Survivor is the higher tier, and the Killer is the lower tier.
That is why survivors are in favor of MMR but against killers. MMR is commonly applied to both killers and survivors.
I'm a killer, both before and after MMR is easy.
But survivors are very difficult. Even if I'm good, my teammates aren't good enough.
If so, can I have fun, but can a team member who can't have fun?
Everyone's standards, not mine, should be the standards.
Therefore, it is correct that MMR is rolled back.
-
Why precise improvements to the game's MMR are not possible
1. The difference between a party player and a solo player destroys the meaning of MMR.
2. A killer with 100% ability and a killer with 50% ability can have the same MMR. So, if the skill of the survivors is 80%, it is easy to feel 100% killer, but the 50% killer only gets stress and all the survivors escape.
3. In a match with 2 party players skills, 2 solo players will be matched with low skill survivors for an average killer balance, making the game very difficult for 2 solo players.
There are many other reasons, but detailed matches are absolutely impossible in MMR, and depending on the frequency of match imbalances, you will have to change back to the previous ranked match. Before and After MMR Patch Many people think that before MMR is better.
Taking into account the opinions of some streamers and some feedback users
MMR patches have been made, but some don't use the game. Developers do not create games based on feedback.
Vote for users around the world. So, I hope you develop your game with the results you get. Please be aware that a game company without communication will never develop in the future.

So what? they shoudnt bother? MMR at least reduced the issue with derankers, there's no accurate way to know in what MMR batch someone is.
My point was that MMR is better than Rank based matchmaking, yes some issue that where present with rank based matchmaking are still present but it also improve on other aspect.
I am a legacy holder who has purchased over 7,000 hours of this game at the time of release.
Now, even after MMR, I pride myself on being an almost universal killer.
But if there are many complaints after the MMR patch in the big community
In the not-too-distant future, we believe that the game's lifespan will be shortened due to the matching imbalance in this game. Articles about buying by new users cite matching and disparity as reasons why many people don't buy.
If there is no continuous influx of new users in the match game
How long do you think existing users will exist?
A close example is why a Steam game went down on Friday the 13th.
Think about it. If no new users come in, the game will crash.
MMR believes it should be rolled back to the previous tier system.
this is for sure
-
After this MMR patch, many killer users left.
However, the developer will judge that the game was played normally with the separate statistical data they created.
The imbalance in matching is now at a very serious level.
-
Balancing the balance in a fighting game is a very sensitive factor.
There were many complaints about matching in the existing rank system,
Now I have fewer issues than after the MMR patch.
Previously, if 2 out of 10 were a problem
Now 7 out of 10 is a problem.
We paid to buy the game,
MMR patched for balance matching
I am working as a tester.
In the meantime, we will be under a lot of stress.
-
MMR is the worst patch since the game was released.
broken work
-
I agree that the MMR system is the worst patch ever.
Many players are suffering from this.
Developers do not respect these opinions.
I can't understand their thoughts.
For example, in a post posted by a new buyer with this Halloween sale,
I've met a few killers and survivors and spent thousands of hours there.
He uploaded several proof photos that he was a match for the user.
Despite frequent publications of this article, there have been no improvements or previous-level systems.
There is no rollback.

they provided already. it used to be much harder
Rifts are actually optional, but mandatory for players. The process of reaching level 70 seems too difficult. Of course, there is an easy and simple way to pass through the gold cell, but it becomes a huge burden if you keep paying. I think we should either increase the rewards by increasing the Rift quests, or adjust the experience given per game in pure games to be higher. Do developers really read forum posts?
-
I think backup file evaporation itself is already a problem. The data files are saved by the developer, but the problem is that the data files are not saved and initialized properly. Restoration and backup seem fine.

Seems pretty simple. You played killer not much but MMR was running in the background many times in the past, and so you probably did quite well when you did play killer, and it logged that into your MMR.
So, now when you play killer you're at a higher MMR, and it won't be until you lose enough games that your MMR drops to the level you should be at, prior to getting easy wins like a lot of people against poor innocent Meg's and Dwight's
You don't have a fair chance at escaping/killing if your MMR is 800 more than it should be, for example. It's only when it's where it needs to be
For whatever reason, MMR should be repealed and reverted to the old ranking system. Many users do not adapt to MMR, and many problems and fun of the game are halved. Numerous communities have confirmed that the article continues to be published, and even new users who haven't touched the game are not buying the game while reading this article. This is true.
-
It is true that clothes are expensive. The price is gradually increasing. The cost of a costume set is the amount remaining after purchasing one game on Steam. I thought it was nonsense
-
We need to abolish the MMR system and return to the old class system. This is a very big problem and cuts the fun in half. It is very unfortunate that the developers continue to maintain these systems. By adding a bot system to the lower section, the matching time is shortened, and bots that are not bots that violate the skills of new users are judged to be very effective. I think the current AI technology is the best, but it's too bad that it's not being utilized.

The biggest downside about SBMM is that if there aren't enough high-ranking players currently playing within your region, then you'll be competing against people you have no business going up against. I've encountered this far too often. It's why I'm still hesitant to play killer, which is ridiculous because the MMR should be able to put that fear to rest. Not to mention it's really hard to balance skill around a game that is heavily reliant on RNG.
Recently, Asian servers are attracting many users through the influx of Chinese users through VPN.
However, despite the judgment that there will be sufficient users for each grade,
There is an imbalance of matching.
If there is no opponent of the same level in the corresponding rank section, through extended matching
Even if unbalanced matching occurs, this number of times is quite frequent.
This cuts the fun in half and greatly lowers the motivation to play the game. Not only me, but the big community in Asia is also pointing out this issue.
Articles come up frequently.
It is true that there was an imbalance in matching before the introduction of the MMR system, and the matching time in the lower section is very long, which can be tedious.
It is judged more efficient to place the bot system in this section and perform extended matching between users with some experience.
We tested the currently implemented MMR system in various ways.
The absurd matchmaking continues.
-
For users who have been playing DBD for years, the worst patch is MMR.
Rather, it takes longer to match, and meaningless matching has increased significantly due to extended matching.
No matter how poor your skills are, it is impossible to match a 2000-hour user with a 5-hour user.
Developers must immediately restore MMR to its original state.
In matching games, unbalanced matching can cause very big problems.
MMR-related issues continue to be raised and identified in numerous communities. Rather, it is judged that it is more efficient to develop a bot system and put it into matching than to expand the matching for new user matching in the pre-MMR system. The bot system has been added to the current tutorial, so if you tweak the AI a little bit more, you can use it effectively in-game. A system in which matching time is shortened by matching some bot killers or bot survivors only in the 15-20 level section before MMR, new users improve their skills while playing the game at low difficulty, and regular users fight as their ranks rise. will be efficient
-
I wish the experience points to reach the max level of the Rift were a little higher. Reaching the highest level seems to be a very difficult part for players who inevitably invest some time and enjoy the game. The higher the difficulty of the quest, the more difficult it will be to clear. It is necessary to raise the basic experience points received through normal games and the experience points received as quest rewards.

Ranks are now called grades and are not taken into consideration for your matchmaking. If someone is red (iridescent) grade, it just means they played a lot that month, not that they are good. If you keep playing your mmr should eventually bring you to a point where you win about half of your matches. Technically, mmr is not a direct evaluation of your skill at the moment, it's more result based.
So what will explain this?
Do you still trust the MMR system?
Are you not a developer?
Still can't feel it while playing the game?

You played an account that had nothing tracked, yet you had max rank perks and everything already?
Personally I have yet to encounter the infinite loading problem, but I have heard it's been going around.
My other account is an account that has hardly played and has not played at all since the reset on the 13th. Also, when playing with this account, it is an account with a poor win rate, unlike the rank, because it almost always loses.

Wouldn't you like to give out golden cells to commemorate Halloween, which is only once a year?
