Fourm Member Refugees - Post i wanted to put on discord but putting here as transition feedback.
I was going to post this on discord but the only place that seems fitting is the PTB feedback area but posting here instead in case someone can see as discord feedback since it seemed like that was preferred alt by bhvr

I personally just want to make sure there is at least a effort to make ample space for discussions like where had on this forum in regards to the game health and balance.

No where on here has anywhere to do long form content yet I assume that may come when we get email about the forum member role on discord?
Its just people who may look over at the discord as a alternative after seeing the announcement and are going to look at these chat rooms that do not feel anything like the fourms and just not engage with discord again.
I know forums not very happy about the idea, not here either to be honest, but I would still like somewhere I can go where I can have forum like discussions after it is closed.
Sorry for posting in unrelated area but there is just no where for long form content on here expect this area, I just want to make sure discord has a ample space where it can have a similar feeling to the forums in what sort of discussions are had there, rather then just big chat rooms filled with mostly disjointed convo or non long forum talks which is all the server is now""
EDIT - also wanted to note would love to be able to hide the wall of voice channels, can do for text ones but not the voice on dbd discord.

Discord kinda allows for a forum-like experience using dedicated channels and chat threads. I hope the devs give us a warm welcome on their other channels, we are refugees at the end.
Oh and most of us are old. Or kids. Or women. So keep that in mind please devs.🦝
the discord is a pure mess - and has WAY to many msgs going off at the same time in the general chat + individuals are not able to make their own posts. It will really suck to lose these forumns
Yeah im in the discord so i can tag dbd as my main game on my discord but heard announcement and tried to use today.
went to game discussion and someone posting silk song charms, and only thing that resembles a forum is grimoire feedback. I would of thought they would have somewhere set up for people to try to migrate over too, esspically since they made it seem they wanted discord to be the main one.
alot of the content on discord right now is just low effort chatting. (which is fine but its not a forum replacement)
It can never truly replace the forums, both Discord and Reddit.
I don't think they really want feedback. These other platforms allow for a constant stream of hollow chatter. It looks like activity even if it's just trash, but it sells as visible engagement. The feedback on the forum was generally negative or critical and I think they want less of that to be seen. I've thought for awhile that they aren't even really paying attention to the feedback here, especially after the bug reporting was moved.
