Honestly, the nerf nuke they dropped on the new killer killed all my hype.
I'm torn about even getting him.
I can live with powers being hard to use.
I can live with power being telegraphed.
I can't live with killers being nerfed because streamers refuse to look at the screen.
This is the community killer. How about making that one strong and accessible?

The nerf isn't much of a change they removed the giant indicator showing you're getting sniped anyways, the OTR off hook is better than 15 seconds of bodyblocking imo.
Great aesthetics, great music.
Perks look interesting and experimenting with obsession switching is something I'm going to do.
Looking forward to going against Judgement.
Overall, I think it's going to be a good update.
But I'm not really hyped for any of it. Now the awe has worn off, I'm left with the reality that I just don't like playing killers whose difficulty curve is based around awkward controls. The perks aren't that great and I really cannot be bothered with the discourse a genrush boon is going to bring.
I'll save my hype over MMR stuff until I have a few trials under my belt and I have a reference for the quality of my games.
I understand the frustration. You never know though it's live service so it can be reverted like so many things have in the past. I would buy the killer but only with iri shards though.
Its the first chapter i'm not getting because of aroura. But the new mmr certainly feels a bit more impactful (knowing that you are being judged for all your actions rather than just victory).
And moment of glory buff i've been enjoying as a Simon Belmont's clothes main.
I also noticed 2 extra hidden achievements so it turned out to be the best time to stop 100%ing those.
I think the killer and survivor are fine, at least right now… I think the game is just in a stale state, MMR Rework might be cool we'll see in a week or so, I will be excited to see actual content beyond the status quo "here comes another guy" updates. I think the base game needs some shaking up
What's up with Aurora?
Mostly the groups within the community that created her. When the 2nd round of voting came around it seperated the the games community, and almost half of the community wanted "blue hair girl". But its not because aurora won, its because the side that won, decided to treat anyone asking for the blue hair girl as a legendary or something later, very poorly. Infact they were downright evil. And thats what i remember aurora for. Purchasing or playing her would feel to me like giving those other players satisfaction. And their behavior will always be in the back of my mind if I were to be playing as her.
I'm also a very old fashioned guy that grew up in the 90s where attractive females in gaming was fine and had nothing to do with objectifying them, and aurora is basicly a 'win' for those that helped overcomplicate gaming today so that many original ideas that couldve been popular today, would not be allowed or they just don't bother trying out of fear of backlash. So i stand with my "blue hair girl" team for several reasons and will not be getting the chapter for aurora.
Each to their own. I didn't have a problem with the blue haired girl but I think I voted for old lady Aurora as I quite liked the aged and experienced in trauma aesthetic that reminded me of heroines like older Sarah Connor and Laurie Strode.
I just like the aesthetic. The actual power was interesting but not a great delivery. And nobody likes that stupid nerf.
