you just gotta realize you exist for other people's enjoyment in 2v8 unless you want to play extremely nasty.
I play so mean in 2v8 unlike 1v4 I almost feel bad the way it forces me to play but hey, I'm entitled to a 1k

This is a crossplatform game and everyone has access to voicechat tools
You too can use a voicechat tool to talk to your killer teammate
i mean how do you play nasty in 2v8 really? you have no real way of knowing who you had last hooked. which one of you 3 bills was it? nor are you going to know who your team mate just did and you have alot going on and 2v8 is very fast paced. down who you down. there is no too fast of an elimination, survs have plenty in their kit to resist.
and if they unhook in front of you, well thats a survivor misplay isnt it? and whos fault is it that the misplay happened and now someones in prime position to be eliminated?
ive been told ive been camping survs in 2v8 when i had no idea who they were or even notice the hooks i pass by when im searching or chasing lol.
if you feel bad about winning, they feel better about losing.
I find it abit odd that people are getting this stressed out on 2v8 specifically. When I play it, I typically check out the DBD discord, find a killer buddy to chat with and have a more relaxing time than if im playing alone in 1v4. Consoles have access to discord too so unless your on Switch... Theres no reason everyone cant do the voice chat thing.
because the people who are playing 2v8 are the same who play every other day and so they still feel the same way about every single game behavior even though the game evironment is significantly different.
Maybe its a personality thing then. I try to find people who aren't gonna rage if they lose rather than someone who is really skilled. Sure I wanna win, but in the event we have 8 people escape I dont want to deal with the blame game in my headset. If you can find a chill teammate, 2v8 just feels less stressful than normal 1v4 as killer to me. I have someone to share the blame with me for losses so it doesnt feel as bad.
I’ve been apart of it twice.
It’s mostly random swears and the occasional call-out where the killers or “the green thingies” are.
Idk if weird was the right word. We didn’t really do that much better, but that may also have been because none of us really cared for the results. It was fun, tho, which is what matters most in the end.
Go around with your partner in those situations, sure the gens will fly but at least you get to own people in chase quickly, it's what I do LMAO
BHVR nuked Legion (A D-tier killer) from 2v8 because survivor mains cried about it, then they made blatant survivor sided changes to the mode. 2v8 is not for you, so either stop complaining (because BHVR isn't listening) or stop playing 2v8. It doesn't matter either way, killer queues for the mode are insanely long.
Which is why BHVR isn't listening. Why should they?
