Last survivor should not be able to surrender

It's very annoying that you can get a 4k, and the last survivor always leaves before you mori them. What's the point?!?!

Comments

  • I have been saying that the abandon option needs about 10 second grace period before it comes available. This is one reason. Another is that I seen way too many times someone abandon when someone gets up with their perk right after.

  • There are certainly issues with the abandon system but I'm not sure how this is one. If the last survivor abandons just before or during your mori, it just saves them 5-15 seconds but you still get to see the mori

  • Counter question

Why do you think the last survivor should be forced to wait to watch an animation they've seen dozens of times when the game state has already been decided.

Whats the point in watching the mori for the hundreds time?

  • Not liking the fact that a survivor can leave before you mori simply means you enjoy kicking them while they are down rather than just enjoying seeing your mori animation. If you want to force people to watch your moris than bring the offering.

    Yes

  • If I played well, got the 4k, I earned that mori. You shpuld have to watch. Survivors get to tbag exit gates, we shpuld get our moris

So it's out of spite then.

Because nobody forces you to watch survivors at the exit gates

you either do that or wait for the egc timer to go down i think it lasts 2 min

you can just push them out, and often times they'll be stupid enough to give you a free kill

1 you won't get a free kill unless you play very specific killers with very specific add-ons and 2 with that logiv qbandon shouldn't exist and survivors should learn how to use unbreakable

there have been many times with a normal m1 that ive been able to down a survivor to the side or backwards so that i can pick them up. some of the killers youre talking about dont even necessarily need any addons to catch these survivors off guard.

im not entirely sure what my comment has to do with the abandon feature or unbreakable. like, if you want to say that the killer should be able to abandon in endgame collapse then id agree. otherwise i have no clue what you're talking about, or how unbreakable is even remotely related

  • A lot of, not every, killers want 4k and a lot of time you are almost bled out before he downs the last standing survivor. By that point both killer and last standing survivors waste your time. I see no reason why abandon should be changed.

    Survivors can abandon if:

→ They are recover or healed from dying state twice without getting hooked.

→ If other players are bots

→ If every survivor is slugged

→ If they are last alive survivors

    Kilers can abandon

→ if all remaning survivors are bots

→ If no generator is finished in 10mins

Abandon only is surrender option where your game is lost. A lot of time killers get fast two downs in early game which mostly result in pressure you simply can't recover from.

Scenario: In my latest playtime most of my games were full hex Jasons tunneling someone out and then sitting in OE running around map with deputy's badge then tunneling other survivor resulting in 2v1 scenario with 1-2 gens left mostly where they just stay in OE forever and it's kinda like a lot of players just needed those 4ks and I don't understand why to prolong the frustration by waiting for killer to find you and mori you. I'm just out.

well abandoned was added to deal with toxic 4 man slugging and with the same logic of "push survivors out" survivors can just bring unbreakable, conviction ect

what killer and how far are these people from the exit gate because if they're tbagging they' get hit and fall out of the trial that's why they do it unless your using blood warden every gane or something

Pushing survivors out is something that can be done no matter the game, the survivors, or the killer. Only being able to do something about slugfests if you bring certain perks before the game has even started is not the same. That would be like if killers weren't able to push survivors out and telling them to just run Bloodwarden.

As for your question, a lot of the survivors that love to tbag endlessly at exit gates are cocky and stupid sometimes, and there are a decent amount of killers and addons to punish that (which is why there are so many compilations of "this is why survivors need to just leave"). Basekit, obviously there's Deathslinger. If you shoot an injured survivor, you can just drag them out, and if you have Iri Coin it doesn't even matter if they're healed. As for addons, Knight has one to block the exit gate for someone spotted by a guard, Springtrap has one that not only keeps the survivor with an axe embedded in them in the exit gate, but everybody else in a 12m area (which is hilarious). Jason basekit can pin an injured survivor, and has an addon that prevents a spiked survivor from leaving (although if the other teammates are actually smart enough it's heal techable).

I'm definitely missing a few, I think Freddy has something similar as well, but even if all else fails, sometimes these survivors will be dumb enough to let you down them at the gate to get a few extra bags in, and I sometimes those survivors are too dumb to emote to prevent backflipping, in which case I'm able to hit them once, then lunge around and hit them from the side as into the map as I can, and it can put them into a position where I can pick them up. Even if they manage to salvage the situation, it puts them in line somewhat. Although from the beginning, I have not experienced survivors staying for minutes to tbag nearly as often as say a killer slugging excessively for the 4k.
