An Elfen Lied chapter...?
I'd absolutely love to see an Elfen Lied chapter come to DbD someday.
My biggest wish would be for Lucy to be a brand new killer rather than just a cosmetic skin, you know? I think she'd fit the game's atmosphere pretty well. Her invisible vectors could make for a really unique power, and she's one of those characters that's both tragic and terrifying at the same time, which is exactly the kind of horror DbD does so well… Even beyond Lucy herself, Elfen Lied has a lot of things that could make for a really cool chapter. A themed map based on the research facility or other locations from the series could be great, and there are plenty of opportunities for cosmetics and references for fans.
Now that DbD has already had its first anime collaboration with Tokyo Ghoul it really gives me hope that more anime licenses could be possible in the future. If that's the case, I'd absolutely love to see Elfen Lied get a chance. Umineko is another series I'd be really excited to see represented as well. A witch killer would make my dreams come true… Alright, I know Elfen Lied isn't the newest horror series out there, but it's still a classic that has had a huge influence on a lot of people. I think it'd be a really fun collaboration that would introduce some players to the series while giving longtime fans something they've wanted for years! If a full chapter isn't possible, I'd still be really happy with Lucy as a Legendary Outfit or another kind of licensed cosmetic. Of course, a full Killer with its own chapter would always be my first choice.
I also have no idea whether Lynn Okamoto (the author of the manga) is interested in doing anything with Elfen Lied these days, so I don't know how realistic this would be. But if there's ever be a chance to make it happen, I'd be over the moon. This is probably my most wanted collaboration for Dead by Daylight along with Umineko, and I'd love to see it become a reality someday… What do you guys think? Would you guys like something like that? Do you think it's even possible?

I'm a big enough fan to have her as a tattoo on my wrist. She would certainly be one of my biggest mains lol. The potential for unique powers would certainly work as she could either be a projectile killer or use items to extend the range of her m1 attacks, or whatever they can work up together with the license holders.
As for if i think its possible, the chances seem low even though we just saw Highschool of the dead (which i have a whole tattoo sleeve of) on the survey which i never would have guessed to see on their list. I can't recall if it showed up on any of their surveys.
Omg girl, same. I wouldn't stop playing if she really did became a killer. It's a character that strongly resonates with me since I was young, it would make me so so happy… As for the surveys, I have no idea if Elfen Lied ever appeared in one of those… I have faith though hahah. Elfen Lied would be a godtier chapter for DbD.
I'm having violent flashbacks to being 13 years old and watching this. It was like, my first anime after exclusively watching Pokemon and Dragonball Z. Quite the shock to the system, as you can imagine.
I'm more surprised that there's still active fans in 2026.
Lucy could be a pretty intersting killer gameplay-wise, but I'm a bit less sure about the design. She is iconic, sure, but she's also a cute, pink-haired anime girl and there'll be an even bigger rift about whether anime belongs in the game than there is about Ghoul. Not stating my opinion here, just prepping you for some pushback.
HAHAH SAME! I first watched Elfen Lied when I was barely maybe 11 years old? and it stuck with me until today hahah. And yeah, quite the shock to the system!
As for the anime thing in DBD goes… I mean, we do have Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titant, Junji Ito… Oh, Rize is a cute anime girl aswell and she has her own skin for the ghoul! I don't know if the fanbase really likes anime in DBD that much though. I sure do like it when it's its own chapter and not only weird looking skins, but… so I mean, I think MAYBE it could work…? It's probably impossible but God how happy would I be hahah.
Sure! I mean, I don't think it'd bother me. I don't think it's a community-wide thing, just a vocal group of purists. I can understand their perspective though, if they're attached to the horror stylings of the game,. Lucy, despite being powerful and violent in universe, is not particularly scary.
Then again Ghoul isn't scary. Rize does have that insane sadist thing going on so there's that, at least. Junji Ito is horror and probs my favourite cosmetic collection in the game. AoT? Eh. It's just legandary skins, which I think tend to get a bit more leeway. We're getting Scooby Doo skins for goodness' sake.
Translating Diclonius powers (the telekinesis, not their strange power of almost always being naked) into the game would be an interesting challenge though. Source material they are busted overpowered. Not sure she should be running around tearing survivors in half from 20 feet away instantaneously.
