those are different videos and how one video was made doesnt inform how the other video was made.

I HIGHLY doubt they did an entire 180, when people invest in Ai they’re locked in till it kills them.

I was talking specifically about the merch situation, even in a meta context it’s still scummy and Weird.
For instance choy started doing something similar to make his so called “twitter haters” angry but it just makes him look bad. He used an gen ai image in a post about negan being not being a killer, and before that he used an ai thumbnail then switched it after promptly getting called out on it, then walked it back with ‘nah lmao it was intentional’
But yeah I’m sure INK was also just being edgy and meta.
Gen ai for art, is bad no matter the context or intention. It’s the sole reason why hardware is so stupidly expensive and why energy prices are skyrocketing
theyre using/have used it intentionally to drive a profit. They are scum and don’t deserve to be in dbd especially if they’re touting ‘ai free’

Do remember BHVR supports many of the communities artists throughout the years! Honestly even if the video isn't AI, hopefully the community backlash is enough to show INK that they should never touch it, same with BHVR but atleast in BHVR's case that seems to be true.

I honestly couldn't imagine being this miserable and upset over something you literally have no power to change. I mean doesn't worry and whining about AI all day just tire you out and make your days worse? I would absolutely hate waking up if all I did everyday was worry about random nonsense I can actually just never affect. I mean I've got enough bills and other stuff affecting me directly than some random band(Which I love btw) using Gen Ai. Like how does worrying about this stuff and complaining about it bring you joy or make your day to day life any better?
let’s be serious here. If the ai bubble doesn’t affect you directly, you’re delusional, as I stated it’s a massive reason the raising of power bills and cost of hardware, which most definitely affects you directly.
Then we have more indirect stuff that affects other people, housing prices are terrible anywhere near ai data centers, water prices are outrageous because data centers require so much of it, not to mention all the people losing their jobs in an already ######### economy because of Gen Ai. Not to mention already bad education systems overrun by iPad kids and teachers using ai alike to coast through school and not actually learn/teach anything of value. The amount of times I’ve someone say ‘just ask ChatGPT’ is astounding when it’s been proven to provide faulty information.
I understand it can be a tool to help speed menial work, but it shouldn’t be outright eliminating jobs at this scale especially with the state of the economy with many not being able to afford to live.
And no I don’t wake up every day miserable complaining about Ai, I only mention it when these dogwater companies mention or try and shove it down our throats. This is the only post I’ve made on it, I’ve commented it on once before when the stream was aired but that’s it. And I’m not miserable, I’m not even angry, I’m just so, SO tired of seeing ai and being reminded of what it’s done to us. So you whoever you’re describing doesn’t do sound like me at all.
