Yeah they've made cakes rarer this year.
I don't know why, it's a celebration of 10 years. Does it really matter if people earn thousands of anniversary cakes?
It's especially disappointing considering it's the 10th Anniversary, which should be extra special.

9M BP gave me 96 cakes. They did the same thing from last year.
I want to try and spend BP manually to see if it's a bug related to the bulk spend, but after 3 or 4 lvls the game keeps saying there's an error in the Bloodweb and goes back to the "press start" screen.
Was same last year.. and the year before.. I am not even surprised anymore
The problem lies here. They made the cakes purple rarity, while normally, event cakes should be common (brown)
This is a normal event offering.
This is generally awful, maybe even malicious, every year they are nerfed. Whats the point.
Spent an entire lvl "by hand"/no bulk spend and got only 14 cakes.
And this year we have something even better: the shrine is not updating daily!
I was gonna spend 8K shards everyday for a total of 8,4M extra BP until the evt is over, but this part of the plan went down the toilet.
They tried it last year as well, and got massive backlash from doing so. Still no idea why they are trying the same this year, and hoping that people would magically stop complaining about it.
Though I have been keeping track of how many cakes I have gathered each year, since year 6.
Year 6 (Frightful Flan): ~800 or so.
Year 7 (Terrormisu): ~1200+
Year 8 (Screech Cobbler): ~1200+
Year 9 (Coconut Scream Pie): ~900 or so.
