He's a racist. He keeps saying that the new survivor is "forced diversity" and Eric Pope responded with "if you have an account that's like "<character>fordbd" and all you do is make hate you're not doing any favors for the license" so he's basically throwing Slender's chances out the ######### window
Heard about this today and guy sounds like an absolute weirdo. Like yes there's the racist aspect of this but in addition there's another part is the guy flat out admitted he hates male survivors. So they're racist and a gooner I guess? Absolute L for people who want Slender having this guy advocate for it.
Let's be real, bhvr will never refuse a license because of annoying fans... otherwise we would never get fnaf, where absolute majority of fanbase is in early 20s at best

With Blue Isle and Troy Wagner having expressed interest in becoming partners to collaborate with BHVR on DBD and the growing requests I've seen for Slender/Marble Hornets in the past couple years, it sucks the momentum The Operator/Slenderman was gaining is muddied by some whiner on Twitter.
Also, Shane's coat, hair, and voicelines are already sweet inclusions. He's a unique new survivor and I love and welcome the devs trying to give us new ideas and characters from different parts of the world. It's one of the oldest and consistently praised parts of Dead By Daylight's world.
I kinda doubt it would affect his chances, tbh.
He probably said it so shut him up.
