Reworks need their own PTB from now on.

I’m really only saying this because I feel like the only reason why the Myers rework made it to live is because we were all too busy with the controversial but good intentioned anti-tunnel and anti-slug but that’s kind of why I’m saying that big reworks like this their own space because when you have several massive changes along with a new killer and some questionable pallet density changes it really was hard to focus on Myers with everything else that was surrounding him. I think Freddy Krueger is kind of the prime example of how you present a rework. give them their own PTB so that they are the focus along with a few perk changes so that the survivors at least have something for these. So for the killers that are gonna get reworked like Trickster, Trapper, and Merchant they need their own room to breathe.

The road to the fog is paved with good intentions.

Yes, major changes need their PTB and feedback needs to be taken before going live. Current PTB is nothing more than a preview for the next update. Only a handful of times have they come out and said this feature is a test only. And we are partially to blame why they don't do more. Each of those times were followed by demands they be implemented and angry after many months after.

they should opt to make a test queue rather than do PTBs in modern DBD. There is a ridiculously small sample size of playtesters when PTbs release, console players should try out the new changes too in the form of an optional event queue

yeah and I feel like that’s been present, especially recently since the release of Krasue

  • Myers definitely should have got his own PTB.

Between Krasue and anti-slug and anti-tunnel, he got pushed into the background.

Not even talking about the perk changes (*stares at M&A changes in disbelief*)

  • Killer reworks imo are big enough to have a PTB just for them. The Skull Merchant rework should be a month long PTB in between chapters for the community to really sink its teeth into her once again and see if she will finally be good gameplay wise. Hopefully once the rework comes out she once again wont be considered a flop.

  • Thats probably why that PTB was so scuffed, there were too many things going on in it, it probably would have been better for 3 one week long PTB's one week for the Myers rework, one week for the anti slug/tunnel, and one week maybe 2 for the Krasue.

she’s a killer that I honestly still play since her release and truthfully there is nothing you can really do about skull merchant people will always hate her and that’s purely just because of the reputation she had back then.

You think that was bad? Do you not remember what they were gonna do to barbecue?

I agree the PTB needs to be expanded. Currently only those on Steam can even participate, and those on other PC platforms like Windows or Epic cannot. Neither could Stadia when that was a thing. And of course none on the PlayStations or any Xbox or Switch can participate either.

    Oh I remember.

I just know that for the time being, it will not come into the game.
