Fog vials are annoying but they're just ok
Idk why people are pretending fog vials pretty much gamebreaking when at best they're just annoying, apart from needing limited uses / the bugs fixed they are just ok and honestly survivors do need more ways to counter aura reading that don't rely on one perk.
I dunno when I play killer I never need to rely on aura reading as well I'm guessing that's the problem? It really feels gimmicky and just a party game tool.

Well maybe bc:
U cant see 1m in front of u
Cant see scratch marks
Cant see auras
Cant hear anything
All this while survivors still has other tools to make it even more busted for example:
They can use sprint burst and any other exhaustion perk to run away/annoy u like head on etc.
The thing about accessibility issues is that they tend to affect individual players to different degrees. I'm honestly happy you aren't affected as much by the item, but others aren't so lucky.
Unhealthy for the game and annoying doesn't mean strong/OP it's different things, i'd say infinite charges with 60 seconds or less cooldown is questionable
The whole point is to have a harder time tracking survivors. Could they reduce the cooldown and reduce the size of the fog? Yes. But complaining about the item doing what it's meant to do makes zero sense.
brother thats the whole point of a smoke bomb, its like saying "uh i dont like medkits because a survivor can heal himself using it"
I could see some nerfs happening that wouldnt butcher the item, like adding a few charges, instead of infinity uses, but thats it and maybe reducing the radius, I mean the event smoke granade had a smaller radius and worked fine sometimes (which is not bad either, i dont think items should be impolute and work perfectly 100% of the times). Also If you make it more transparent it totally looses the point of a smoke bomb, and becomes one more useless item in the roster, why do you think they reworked maps and keys? We dont need any more useless stuff in the game, there is plenty already
Visual impairment is never fun to play with, so I can agree with people on that. But at the same time, with camping/tunneling/slugging continuing to be a problem and phase 2 seemingly not coming along as smoothly as one might hope, they're a bit of a band-aid for now. Not a great or a good one by any means, but it's something. Ironically the bugs it introduced are probably more helpful in that pursuit.
I'm hoping they don't nerf them. They're stupid, silly fun but mostly useless. The games I'm playing in usually have none in play. The bloodweb is also giving me basically zero, so I don't even get to use them much myself.
They're on the chopping block for sure. It's just a matter of when.
Harder? Dude… if the survivors play it right the killer literally cannot track them, and on certain maps its even worse.
Survivors can just straight up deny u ur first couple of hits, prerun every time u are getting a lil close, pop a fog vial and u have no counter to it.
Tracking issue, they're barely useful.
xD cap
Yeah pretty much I feel they just need small tweaks otherwise it's alright, It's nice when the game feels more like a party game than a competitive sweat fest.
People understand the point of them. We're saying it shouldn't be a mechanic in the game. They promote slow and disengaged gameplay.
Some matches desperately need some slowing down. They probably hoped vials might help with tunneling and they potentially could, if a team is coordinated enough to provide smart back up. The one and only time a vial has worked against me was when a team all rushed in to cover the tracks of someone on death hook. It was a solid play. They're also a good option for newer people who aren't good at chase and need help surviving long enough to get a grip on the game. The chase pros will still opt for the superior flashlights. The vials just need more than a few days to find their place.
ok bro
Just imagine
Full sfw with 4 fog vials with infinite charges applied to this…
I already see that people saying “they are useless” changing their mind. I’m genuinely happy that for some reason I haven’t met such SFWs yet. Of course it doesn't mean that u have to ban the item because some people can abuse it, but calling this item useless or worthless and max “annoying” in current state is like saying that old flashlight spam clicks was healthy and nice mechanic. Underestimating is bad usually, especially in terms of balance in asymmetrical game.
Maybe I’m just a person with “poor tracking” or with accessibility issues. But for some reason, the only argument that people who consider this item harmless use is circles around people using them incorrectly
Pls, just return to items having limited charges. Both for maps, keys, and fog vials
Yeap and now they're nerfed to dirt
