Match scoreboard no longer tells you who's perk it is
If you mouse over a perk during the match scoreboard, it no longer tells you who's perk it is. This is very helpful for newer players who wish to know who to purchase if they want the perk. During your match loadout screen, as you can see in my example, it clearly shows Call of Brine is an Onryo perk.

Yeah this is an issue, and tbh a scummy one at that IMO.
I never bought detective tap but I have stakeout and tenacity from the shrine, but not detectives hunch.
Characters used to have a lock next to their sharable perk if you didn't have it, this would account for perks you've gotten from prestiege and from the shrine of secrets. Now you can't ever tell what perks you've unlocked from the shrine, I personally believe the devs intentionally made this decision for no other reason than to keep a customer from making an informed purchase.
How so? You know if you own a character or not. If you're considering buying a character you'll be able to look at their perks to see if you already have some of them unlocked.
@topic that's unfortunate. Hopefully they fix it soon (assuming it's a bug) or revert the change (if it was intentional).
That's a completely unnecessary change that someone at bhvr intentionally consciously made, and like I said for what reason other than hiding pertinent information to someone intending to spend money.
That is nothing but shady and questionable
I very much doubt that. It takes all of two seconds to figure out what you own. If it was a done to confuse people it was a pretty weak effort.
I actually just go with the theory that its a screw up and not intentional and I make this assessment by past experiences with BHVR.
all of two seconds is what it used to take, now it take about 45 seconds per survivor.
I have nearly 20 survivors I haven't even bought, and I feel like I might be on the higher side of how many I own tbh.
So to comb through about 60 signature perks before I can even gather information to make a purchase dissuades me from even bothering and continuing to just hit the shrine.
Maybe it's an agree to disagree thing, but I literally cannot find myself to purchase characters with the removing of that mechanic. I'm not trying to blow this into a bigger thing than it really is or try to cause an unnecessary uproar. But as a consumer I cannot bring myself to make an uninformed purchase, and like I said I genuinely don't see how they took random steps backwards when it comes to QOL and monetization.
With the spaghetti code of this game it's just as likely a bug as it was intentional.
