We should be able to abandon a match if we’re left to hit second stage

I’m getting sick of ensuring none of my teammates get left on hook only to be left to hit second stage because people can’t look at the HUD and realise that maybe they should go and get the unhook. My motivation to finish the match drastically plummets at that point and I’ll normally try to let go on hook and if I’m saved, I’ll go AFK. You obviously wanted a 3 vs 1, so you’ve got it. 💋

I think there are circumstances where going second hook is acceptable. Let's say for example the survivors are struggling to get gens done earpy, and all of a sudden they have an opportunity to pop 2-3 gens. I think the trade off of an extra hook state should be warranted.
Just as much, survivors should feel okay hanging out on hook while gens are being finished. I've seen games where if someone is left on hook for 10-15 second, all of a sudden. They are giving up. You have 70 seconds. You can wait a bit whilst someone finishes an objective.
Being on death hook shouldn't equate to giving up/ going AFK, if progress is being made in the game. Survivors also need to be okay with deaths happening. Every game can't be a 4E. If that was th eexpectation, the killers wouldn't play and we would have no game. Same goes for killers. Every game can't be a 4K. I'm fine dying so long as I can see progress being made to others escaping. Folks need to temper their expectations a bit in that regard and I think they would find they'd actually enjoy the game more.
So being left to go the second stage whilst 3 teammates walk around the map or sit crouched behind a rock is an acceptable reason for me being left to go to struggle? Even though I saved all 3 of them during their first hook stages? No thanks.

We should be able to decide if being left to go to struggle state was strategic or not. We’re able to abandon a match when we’re all slugged even though teammates could have Unbreakable or Deliverance (which could tip the balance back into the survivors favour), so why aren’t we able to abandon when we’re left to hit second stage on our first hook as well?
Would you rather be left with a bot or somebody that goes AFK for the remainder of the trial?
Its called a forum bruh. You made a post, I respond with why it's a silly idea. And why survivors need to feel comfortable in getting hooks. But go off, sure.
If folks are given the option, it will be abused. PERIOD. And goes against what BHVR is trying to do with the Go Next prevention (which is needed)
I dont abandon for that very reason. I have seen many a times someone abandons prematurely.
I abandon as soon as I’m given the option, it’s such a great addition to the game. It’s not my problem if you brought Unbreakable and weren’t allowed to use it. 🤭
I'd agree with this. I sure can't be bothered to hang around and wait for teammates who can't be bothered to get me.
