Over 70% of DBD players aren't using Steam to do so.
Epic Games doesn't have a beta branch facility like Steam does.
Both Minecraft and DayZ have "experimental" modes on Xbox. With effort it can be done.
down voting my comment is craZy just because i said everyone plays on steam the majority do, all he has to do is just get a 8$ steam account and play the ptb that way its that simple if 8$ is so hard to cough out for the ptb and your on epic you got some financial issues.

That's simply not true. As I said something over 70% of DBD players are not using Steam to play the game.
That is different, as those are variant game modes essentially. Yes, it technically could be done, but would require additional assets to be downloaded to your console increasing the space it takes on your console HDD. Most consoles have smaller HDD drives still, not 24TB SSD drives like PC users can get today. A game like Minecraft it's not such a big deal as it's not a large graphic intensive game like DBD is.
Because the last time DbD was trusted with Epic Games was a total disaster that the community is still trying to deal with. A.K.A. Cheaters/Hackers. Can't seem to get rid of those cock roaches no matter what.
