Every killer is a return-to-hook-Andy during this portion of the event

I cant get any value from We'll Make It or Resurgence because EVERY SINGLE killer IMMEDIATELY returns to the hook!

It's about time to change this! Make remote hooking the default. DO NOT SHOW the hook's aura! DO NOT SHOW the noise notification at unhook!

Gee! I just fixed tunneling too! You're welcome!

In the mean time, buff We'll Make It to 500% heal speed and Resurgence to 90%
Thanks!

  • Sooo whats stopping an attentive killer from looking for the closest hook, memorizing it, keeping an eye on the hud, and returning?

    In the mean time, no.

  • Well, if I am not in chase, because I couldn't find any survivors, then I am going to return to hook every time, no matter the event.

It's spot where I know about 2 survivors and they are very likely healing under the hook.

  • Gonna be honest if you aren't getting value from we'll make it then you are probably unhooking too early. Or the killer is billy or blight. In which case you need a lot of distance or they need to be chasing someone else

And why shouldn't I come back? I have a survivor there I could potentialy tunnel. Even if I don't tunnel I at least know that there's a new survivor AND I Interrupt them healing, that results into a easy survivor to chase afterwards OR another survivor wasting their time healing instead of doing gens.

There's no reason to not come back if you don't know about a gen that is about to pop or you're not into chase.

  • Im not against a perk that hides unhook notification and provides not change on the hud and continues Killer aura reading of the hook for a short time. or even better make it an item or a use of the Broken Key.

I used Open Handed and Kindred to make sure the killer was far away first.

"The survivors unhooked too early, so I'm going back to hook."
"The survivors took too much time to unhook, so I'm going back to the hook to force Stage 2."
"I'm too lazy to look for survivors working on gens, so I'm going back to the hook because I know there are 2 survivors there (even though they could have possibly self-unhooked; oh well, I will just tunnel them in that case)."

"The survivors unhooked too early, so I'm going back to hook."
"The survivors took too much time to unhook, so I'm going back to the hook to force Stage 2."

That's why you should think when going for the unhook instead of simply "YOLOing" it. The solution to your problems:

    • "The survivors unhooked too early, so I'm going back to hook." You said it yourself, "too early", so you don't even give the killer time to get away, much less find anybody else. As long as the hooked survivor doesn't get to the next phase, it will be the same to unhook him 5 seconds after being hooked, or 30. There is no reason to rush it.

    • "The survivors took too much time to unhook, so I'm going back to the hook to force Stage 2." Don't wait for the timer to be 5 seconds away to get to the next phase, either (unless you plan to do a trade). If you have Kindred, you can see what other survivors are doing, so if nobody else is going for the save after 10–20 seconds or whoever was going for a save starts getting chased, you go.

    • "I'm too lazy to look for survivors working on gens, so I'm going back to the hook because I know there are 2 survivors there (even though they could have possibly self-unhooked; oh well, I will just tunnel them in that case)." Like said, if after a while the killer doesn't find anybody else, logically, he will come back to check if a save is being made. So, if the killer is not distracted and chasing somebody else when going for a save, simply wait for him to make his check and pass by, and then apply the first solution. Also, never, ever heal under the hook unless the killer is in a chase somewhere else.

Do all this, and you will not just get more safe unhooks, you won't make it easy for the killer to tunnel. You're welcome.
