I should just play killer until the next perk rework
No matter how many breaks I do all I see as survivor is the meta. Yes I get the meta are the strongest perks in the game currently but imagine having the face the same build over and over again I get my fun isn't their priority but to me it's boring after the tenth match facing Pen Res, Pop, Corrupt, Grim and Dead Man. I've had maybe three matches out of twelve roughly since I also have to remember the number of killer matches I did where I faced a killer with something that wasn't the meta. Also there are other gen regression perks I would love to see instead like Surge, Oppression, Eruption overall I would say Surge is extremely powerful but it's slept on now before when the current meta was new it was in the mix now I barely see it. I hate using the meta because I want other players to face a different build so I use my meta. Brutal,Bamboozle,BBQ and Lethal then if I'm playing the killer I start to figure out other perks that might work with them. I won't lie I thought the choas shuffle would have lowered the chances of the meta since players would have learned other perks that work well. Now I get there's a meta for survivors but I rarely see it being used. So overall I might actually start playing killer more often because it's probably a bit like 5% more fun then playing survivor since matchmaking loves to ruin it.

Rejoice! Pop, Pain Res and Grim Embrace were nerfed. They'll still remain meta because there are no alternatives but they were nerfed.
Game is just setup in a way where slowdown perks far outclass every other type of perk available and without limits to the amount you can run the meta will always be "x4 of the best killer slowdown currently available".
Actually no I've had mostly 4 or 3ks on it. Mostly because I started to learn how the portals work.
I don't think i've had any exit gate escapes on that map and i've played it probably 20+ times as killer. Multiple killers as well not just one. It's super easy for people to just 3-gen themselves there.
True. On top, there is a pretty deadly 3gen around the shack. Just let them finish the dungeon ones and protect the ones outside. I dont get how this 3gen went live.
I noticed a similar trend with the movie theater map as well. Pretty wild 3-4 gen area. Not as bad as some swamp maps i've played though.
To be fair it is a new map so trying to figure out what gens to do can be tricky I was able to get I think 2 escapes on that map as survivor though one was caused by a camping Blight who i guess didn't remember or play since the camping change.
