Randomized perks and addons could be a permanent option with increased BP bonus for doing so.

So I really liked the challenges that randomise your perks and think it could be taken a step further; there are quite a few reasons it would be good.

  • First of all, it's fun. You just don't know what you're going to get until you're in there.
  • You get to try using perks that you wouldn't normally use for whatever reason, perhaps finding your new favourite. Maybe it's a perk from a killer or survivor you don't own, and that would maybe encourage someone to pick up that character.
  • It takes away a bit of stress for some people because, even if you lose, who cares if you were doing random perks anyway?

Having a little checkbox in the loadout for random perks and a % BP bonus as an incentive seems simple enough. Just an idea and my thoughts on it.

  • Good luck throwing the game for your teammates and seeing it as fun.

I'm a killer player btw, this is purely empathy.

I'd love to use random perks as survivor.

Survivors can manage without perks a lot of the time. Half the time survivor perks don't take effect anyway. DS without a tunnel, UB without a slug, Renewal without a heal, etc. I've had pure healing builds against Plague and still escaped.

The outcome is decided more by actions and skill than by solely perks.

Or the map, how much of your weight your teammates pulled with their perks and how bad the killer was?
