Why does a blinded survivor still see the aura of killer things?

Because then a pig with third seal etc would be an utter nightmare to go against?
I played pig with the addon, where the aura isn‘t shown and almost everybody everybody got the traps off.
Yes maybe, but why does it exist then, only that people die on hook or can‘t use windows of opportunity etc…

You miss the point, that addon switches off once the trap is active. This provides a situation where you can do a box or two and have a gen done to find the rest. Not being able to see your final box or two at all on a map like lery's would give the pig insane game delay or a head pop or two which would be miserable to face. I am not saying this would be a constant thing all the time or some new meta build, but it would just be so unfun to go against when it does come up there is no reason it should be a thing.
The same way killers see certain things still if blinded by Residual Manifest. White auras are not affected by blindness for both sides.
