Been a Trapper Main Since 2018
I’ve not been enjoying him for a time now. Just isn’t what it used to be playing him. Bright maps and poor ground texturing has made his game play miserable. Then there’s the traps scattered across the map and often at edges. Same old complaints about trapper.
I like to play a lot of killers and generally vary my gameplay but been playing pyramid head a lot lately. Really liking him more and more despite how clunky he is. Any good build for him?

It's at the point now where even darkened traps "hidden" by the thick fern-like plants on Macmillan maps are visible if the survivors are playing with low graphics.
Trapper used to be difficult yet fun and rewarding; now it's just miserable to play as him.
You know what, let me make you a little bit more upset, the recent fast vault bug fix had the added effect of making fast vaults bypass traps right after the vault, and if you place them further from the vault survivors can just move around the trap and vault with no issue, but you cannot as killer hitboxes are bigger.
What does this mean? That now trapping vaults is only usefull if you are playing against bots/very new players lmao just another common trapper L.
My advice: play wesker or blight if you enjoy them, they are pretty fun.
Yeah. It was fun to setup traps in odd places and pull off some awesome plays with some foresight but that’s all countered by maps now.
I hate both. lol. Yeah I know the fast vault bs was in play too.
Damn, hope you find a killer that you enjoy tho, I personally had to drop my main too, I used to play slinger so much them MfT happened, I switched to dredge idk why I just love playing him, I also play some singularity too but I know he is not a good experience to play as so id recomend dredge better.
