What is up with the matchmaking?
Tell me why when I play killer I get a full lobby of 100 prestige SWF squads, but when I play survivor I get survivors who can't even do a skill check?

Because the squads of 100's cannot queue with 5 people. No room.
You're gonna get matched with players who don't take the game seriously enough to take advantage of every advantage they can get (SWF + busted perk combos + busted items and addons)
Im the same play killer get full toolbox prestige 100 squads that rush the gens in 3 minutes then play solo queue and get teammates that dont touch gens the entire game.
Yes exactly. I have no idea why it's like this, it truly balphels me.
I think its to do with numbers, there needs to be a ratio of four survivors to 1 killer but the ratio is actually much higher so they just throw any killer in as there's not enough high level killer players.
Confirmation bias. Nothing more. You dont think about the games where you win or even stomp as Killer. Or the games where you get actually good Survivor-Teammates. The games where you get outplayed as Killer and those where you cannot outplay the Killer because your teammates are bad - those are the ones that stick.
In reality, the Matchmaking is more random than anything. When I play, I can get one of the Top Players as Killer, someone on the Leaderboard for X Rush-Downs/Hatchet-Hits, etc... And the next game I get a 200 hour Killer who does not know if he is playing DBD or Minecraft. Same with Survivors, from the very strong Survivor-Team I face to the 7 hour Bill... Everything there.
But overall it is not true that you ONLY get teams which stomp you as Killer and are ONLY paired with Potatoes when you play Survivor.
What's up with the matchmaking is that it is barely there, as always.
I mean it is baffling, but it's also totally business as usual.
The loose matchmaking was implemented to make it easier to get games with the risk of diminishing game experience. It also makes it harder to determine if there is a shortage of Killers queuing or not.
Prior to this matchmaking implementation, people were even able to calculate on average the Survivor to Killer ratio and it was abysmal.
