Survivors were cheated in this match..
How did a killer just make the exit gates be completely blocked with a perk or hex while the gate time runs out and all survivors died? This isn't right! We repaired all 5 gens and the killer was able to prevent us from leaving the gate even though we opened them and were all alive. Please fix. I also recorded the game clip to show proof.

Sounds like you got hit with blood warden. The counter is to either 99% the doors before you know everyone is safe, or leave immediately and just let the person on hook die.
This sounds like Blood Warden, the only remotely useful perk from Freddy. The counter to BW is to either leave before the Endgame Timer is at 45%-ish or to leave the gates at 99% and open them when all survivors are in the clear. Blood Warden is trigged by hooking a survivor while the gates are open, causing the Entity to block the exits for 45 seconds. If the killer hooks someone while there is still a good chunk of time left in the Endgame, you guys should be able to leave as long as you dont get caught and hooked/mori'd
A surprisingly unrealized counter to blood warden is Distortion btw. Alerts you to it's existance if you suddenly lose a token as you enter the gates and lets you know "Yeah time to get the ######### out"
Blood warden is actually bugged and has no aura read right now so distortion doesn't work against it

Yes it can definitely come as a surprise, but the game is not over until the survivors have escaped - it's not just about opening the gates it's about leaving as well. It's why there's considerations to make during that end phase, is someone being chased, is someone opening doors, do you take a hit for someone. Quite a few decisions to be made.
