When will Hexes get some love?

How is it that the survivors can bring 4 COH that can cover the entire map but I still can’t choose where my Hexes can go? Why is it my Hexes are in the most out there places and not in the hidden corners of the map? Why does it seem some hexes are useless (Ruin, Lullaby) but some (Plaything) are extremely powerful? Yet pale in comparison to the effects of COH? Not only does it allow self healing but a boost to healing actions? Yet the Hex that I brought was found within 12 seconds of the match starting!

  • You really want to have another thing to have to split your attention between? That's what choosing where your hexes go would result in.

I want hexes to get some love too, but not with the downside of having to add another thing to the list of things I need to keep track of as killer. Kinda wish hexes would just not appear in the map at all until something that would trigger their effect happens. Except for the obvious exceptions where that wouldnt work, like Haunted Grounds.

  • They can't buff them because they are easily broken.

  • Make stronger Hex perks. Devour Hope, Third Seal, Face The Darkness, and many more are atrociously weak.

  • For how high risk hexes are like 95% of them are terrible. It’s supposed to be high risk/high reward, not high risk/low-moderate reward. I mean like 25% of them are so weak they could literally not be hexes and they still wouldn’t be overpowered, that’s how undertuned they are.

Devour Hope is in that obnoxious spot where it's weak against SWF's (who drop everything and hex hunt) and strong against solos (who don't).

Too much setup for too little is probably its biggest issue. It can be cleansed before you get any value off of it, or be completely ignored for the most part while everyone else gen rushes.

You already do when bringing a hex you got to protect anyway, but instead of being someplace you put it now it can be in the middle of a field with signs pointing at it.
