playing against because they can't see their ing name, why can killers see who they're playing against. I know killers use this information to see who is the weakest player on the team
So remove this from killers. both ingame and in the lobby

But I'm curious, how do killers know who is the weakest from name alone.
A lot of people play on steam, those with the least hours tend to correlate to the weakest survivor, especially in a swf
Okay fair. But still, you can hide that info if that's really an issue.
Seems like most survivors want their items to be anonymous, but it does help a killer to know what kinda items people are running so they can adjust perks to slow healing, gen rushing, or negate flashlights tho.
You are assuming that the killer is going to take the time to look each survivor steam profile in search for DbD play time before the match start... but if that is the case, you can just put your profile in private. Problem solved.
