Ok, so last year's blight sucked for many reasons and other events in the past might have been less frustrating.

I don't like that event items are rewarded through the battlepass, so I thought I'd try creating the mechanics of an event that would make an event feel special while still encouraging relatively normal gameplay.

The killer will have an event task similar to bbq & chili. In order to maximize the points gained towards the event cosmetics, they need to hook each of the 4 survivors at least once. Additional survivor hooks AFTER this requirement is met will count towards the event goal.

Example: The killer hooks survivors 1,2, and 3 and gains 3 event points. If the killer then hooks survivor 1 again they receive no points. If the killer hooks survivor 4 they gain a point and can hook other survivors for additional event points up to a cap.

All hooks are event hooks.

The survivors would each be assigned 2 of 5 roles. Healer, Repairer, rescuer (only safe unhooks), bait, interference. They receive 2 of 5 in order to avoid fighting over objectives and have alternative ways to gain points. Bonus points are given for escaping.

As they complete objectives related to those roles they gain event points.

DC'ing forfeits all points gained that match.

Suiciding on hook 1 removes 80% of points.

Dying on Hook 2 without struggling removes 75% of points.

Dying on Hook 2 with struggling and on hook 3 will remove 0% of the points you gained.

Points are for specific roles.

Earn shiny points as survivor to purchase survivor event skins.

Earn corrupted points as killer to purchase killer event skins.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something problematic, but this is the general idea :)

    This seems slightly flawed (suciding on hook and dying on hook)

    How does the game know you're suiciding? Maybe they were trying to 4% (ik stupid they probably were but still)

    What if i wanted to give my other survivor friend hatch? Would i just lose points because of that?

    How much struggling would be required for it to not remove any points?
