Mind Breaker

Prologue

I'm going to make this perk better in general because it doesn't really do its job well in my opinion. :(

Mind Breaker

Your distressing presence drains and weakens your prey.

Whenever a survivor succeeds a repair skill check, receive a token up to a maximum of 12 tokens.

Survivors who succeed a repair skill check suffer from:

3 Tokens: Survivors cannot see the generator's progress meter.

6 Tokens: Survivors suffer from the Exhaustion status effect for 15 seconds.

9 Tokens: Survivors suffer from the Oblivious status effect for 15 seconds.

12 Tokens: Survivors suffer from the Exposed status effect for 45 seconds.

Whenever a survivor lands a great repair skill check, lose 6/5/4 tokens.

Feedback is appreciated! :D

  • This seems like a great change overall, but I think the time as to how long the effects last seems a little much

Alright, I will take 15 seconds off each status effect timer, thank you for the feedback! :P

  • @NMCKE Does Hex skill checks also count as great?

Yes, because Ruin specifically states great repair success zones grant 0% bonus progression. Since Ruin skill checks have great success zones, then you will lose Mind Breaker tokens.

Keep in mind this perk ONLY affects REPAIR SKILL CHECKS, not healing, sabotage, and so on. :)

This is a really interesting idea =O

    Very creative <3

  • Hmmmmmmmm, that is interesting. I worry 45 seconds is excessive for Exposed, but you do need to get to 12 tokens for it to function. Are Great Skill Checks the only thing that can remove tokens?

  • Interesting Idea, i like the concept. I was thinking it might be too harsh for new players since they'll rarely be able to hit great skill checks, while not being a problem for experienced players. ๐Ÿค”

Maybe reduce the token loss for great skill checks, but add a cooldown timer so being off of gens slowly drains the tokens? (so new people have alternative ways other than great skill check to reduce the tokens)

Any chance to provide @NMCKE idea to the team? :)

But also new killers will have problems to really capitalise this perk properly.
