Found a really easy way to spread kindness and friendship in game as killer
Step 1 - friend whatever survivors are in your lobby.
Step 2 - offer bloodpoints without a farm. As in you aim to play the game but want to let others know you have party streamers active to join in.
Step 3 - gain instant good karma by wishing the survivor good luck and extra bp and sometimes get extra bloodpoints in return!
Step 4 - profit and gain new friends.
Comments
Step 5 - Gen genrushed, t-bagged at the exists, and put comments on your profile like "GG EZ, baby killerino. L2P noob.
Well atleast you've attempted to spread kindness? Just because someone might do that doesn't mean everyone will.
You do you friend. You might get a few incidents where the survivors will take the p**S, but if it works for you and you are enjoying yourself, just ignore the projected negativity you might get on here. It seems there is no forum post where someone doesn't want to spread their bitterness.
I'm all for anyone trying for less toxicity in this game. Good luck!
Already had success actually! Met a guy who recently moved to aus, and after my killer game went and did some swf.
Kindness spreads kindness
Nice one!
Na, to much effort to please the "kings" of the game. Either they like me or not, idc and will never care. It's usually toxic and entitled survivors who get really pissed, so let them.
it would be funny if it wasnt so true...
i usually just play normal (no tryharding - e.g. M2 only) and dont deathhook them.
they cant complain i would be a boring farmer, they cant complain they didnt get any points, they cant call me a "skillless baby killer", etc.
its actually great xD
but this is a way of humanizing yourself in front of their eyes do realise.
by approaching them with a potential gift (in the form of bloodpoints, and saying gl in the round you are not only being a wholesome competitor but a genuine human being. your going to do your best to win, there going to do there best to win, but now they know a persons behind there, not some killermain42069 who wants to be toxic. and if people are toxic back to that then well there just genuinely sad human beings.
If someone truly wants to be toxic they will be. im just attempting to shrink the divide by showing kindness and good sportsmanship, and there not kings of the game and your not going out of your way to please them. your offering to help shrink the grind, by allowing them opportunity to use there own streamers with yours in order to hopefully have a healthy match where both sides earn a lot of bp and go home happy.
i had a match today like what Abannedcat described. they utterly destroyed me and thats fair. they said gg, thank you for the blood points and we were done with it. they didn't apologize they had there fun, they got points i put on, and we were all happy. (hell i got one kill out of all of them and ended up getting 150k bp from it.)
tldr : good sportsmanship doesn't just happen during and after the game. and im not suggesting you attempt to "appeal" to survivors. im just suggesting a way to promote unifying both sides of the playerbase through common reward. people will get pissed yes. but they do everywhere, doesn't mean you can't step up to be better then those you judge
