Has anyone else tried this?
When another survivor searches a chest. Once the search animation is complete they cannot immediately take the item.
At this point you can go behind the chest and yank the item and the other survivor can't stop you.
Has anyone else tried this?
I did it a few months ago it might have been a bug that's been fixed by now, could be intended.
All I know is that I left a few survivors confused about where the item in the chest was.

That's just plain rude! Haha. I'd take it as a joke and then drop it for them
I always cancel the animation by running from the chest and returning to it
I do this to my friends. :P
Me: Searches Chest.
Other Survivor: takes my item.
Me: "You can take that item with you on death hook."
