Decisive strike QoL improvement

So i would like to suggest that we do a small change to that perk that keeps it as is but is more reasonable.

First of i would like to increase the time that DS is active after being unhooked or unhooking yourself from 60 seconds at tier 3 to 120 seconds at tier 3, but to not make that grossly OP i would recommend that the perk gets disable whenever another survivor gets hooked. This will truly make it a non tunneling perk and removes alot of intentional DS at times that the killer was indeed not tunneling. And also so that you are not restricted by the short 60 seconds timer if you where to get tunneled.

You could also consider deactivating the perk simply when another suvivor is downed if that turns out to be the better choice.

Thoughts?

Edit: as "Kees_T" mentioned in his comment. If the survivor goes from injured to healthy state the DS timer would be removed or reduced by X amount of seconds. I like this idea even more than my own :P And would remove the stupid OP adrenalin into mettle of man into DS combo that is meta right now. I would tho, to compensate this nerf maybe slow down the timer by 50% if downed within the DS timer and not picked up.

  • That's not a QOL improvement that's a straight buff

  • Here's the change. Now it lasts 45 seconds.

No its not if you hook another survivor first it will cancel out DS, so lets say you down both the DS user right after unhook. And another survivor within 10 seconds, if you first hook the new survivor the DS user that u just had hooked won't get to use his DS because it was not tunnel it was a bad play on the survivors side that you should not be punished for, but with the current version. If we have the same scenario, you hook the new survivor then go for the DS user you will get stunned for 5 seconds, maybe even the DS user will run to the hook with BT and now you have zero survivors on the hook instead of 2. even tho you played fairly and it was the survivors that made mistakes.

It is only a straight buff if you indeed are hardcore tunneling. maybe the increase timer was to much, maybe just increase the time if you are being slugged?

  • On my opinion, after the Survivor gets to the healthy state, the DS will be deactivated or the timer of the DS would be reduced by X seconds.

Even if you aren't hardcore tunneling that is 2mins of time. You can do two gens in that amount of time as a survivor. As for the killer there is no guarantee you can get others on a hook in the team is strong. If you have one person on the team who gets caught out even after being unhooked then they need to get hooked again. You're suggesting nothing, but a buff with no downside to the survivor. If you were to have a 2min window of safety you better either be exposed or I better be able to see your aura for the rest of the match when you get unhooked the first time.

I would like that, what i tried with my post was to punish tunnelers more, but reward non tunnelers more aswell. So if a survivor goes to healthy state the DS timer would deactivate that would be great aswell! Nice constructive idea :)
