Its a visual bug, you're not actually losing pips if the killer DCs, it just shows that at the end game until you load into the lobby again.

ever wonder why survivors can’t see each other’s ping. Would help understand why killers leave the lobby.
also wonder why mr 150 ping doesn’t leave for the sake of everyone else?

why would you leave with only 150 ping? That's lower than human reaction time.
