and killers still slug for the 4k. Why?

    Because slugging still helps with getting the 4K. The problem was never the Hatch Stand-Off, the problem was that Killers feel entitled to get 4Ks.

    If this would not be the case, there would have never been Hatch-Stand Offs.

    Isn't that a bit of a narrow-minded view on in Hatch standoff simply happens because both parties are too stubborn to give up

    Survivors feel entitled to an escape.

    Killers feel entitled to a kill

    It's not just one sided

    Yeah, this is correct. Basically nobody should feel entitled. But still there were Killers who did not want to hook me next to the Hatch, so I needed to run to another Hook, nearly full Map away to show them that I will not do Hatch Stand-Offs.
