daily rituals are they random?

i always get the same ones it seems like the same few killer ones. i no theres lots of different ones even survivor ones and you can get like 4500 point ones but i seem to get just the 3000s or 2000 point dailys and most of the are the same killer dailys

  • Even tho they seems random from my experience i always get the side i played less on from yesterday.

So lets say i played a lot of survivor - i will get a killer daily. And vice verse

  • They are partially random. The factor that isn't random is whether it is for killer, or survivor. When there are not enough killers playing, the algorithm is biased towards killer rituals, and when there are too many killers, they are biased towards survivor rituals. Other than that, they are completely random.

Do you have any proof of this, like a developer statement, or just a gut feeling?

That's called confirmation bias. You will have more killer dailies if you play survivor because you've completed survivor dailies by playing survivor, and vice-versa.

Back when the devs were doing live streams every week, they mentioned it a few times, as a way to help with queue times. However, it barely makes a dent in the issue.

it honestly makes 0 sense. Most people keep their dailies and do a couple at a time.

So it wouldn't help lobby times, since they would be skewing the next days lobby pools. Or next weeks.

If you said something like "it gives you dailies for things you own but don't play much" i could see. Since I rarely get the hag daily, but get Wraith's a few times a week. And because it wouldn't be expected to effect que times.
