The Killer never does the actual killing outside of Offerings and a few Perks.
The Entity always actively made the final blow on the hooks.
Without it, they'd just be able to get unhooked infinitely.
@Boss I know that, but apparently the Devs have stated the Entity doesn't actually watch the trials that go on.
Which I find is strange given that Beast of Prey exists. Which apparently severs the connection to her.
They say a lot of stuff.
I wouldn't be surprised if, at some point, we get some sort of Entity-driven Killer.

One could argue windows & exits are already requiring the Entity to interfere with Entity Blockers.
@Boss That's why I got confused when the devs said she doesn't watch the trials, and as you said, they say a lot of stuff.

Anyway, the way i see it is that The Entity has gained enough sacrifices and enough strength to be able to fully participate in the trials, This is just the beginning though in exploring her full power.
As she is a malevolent being capable of being vastly stronger than both survivor and killer, seeing as though she literally broke the spine of them.
The whole realm of the world is the Entity, Bamboozle and Whispers get some participation.
