What is the purpose of the new end-game?

I believe that with this new end-game, the survivors will not take any risk and therefore repair the engines and once the doors open, they will leave the premises, nothing of the end-game will be threatening.

That's the point of the endgame: Survivors have to leave the trial unless they want to get pierced by the Entity.

It's supposed to stop endgame hostage-taking and Hatch stand-offs.

  • To be teabagged at the exit gates.

are you sure about that? :))) i can't wait to teabag at the killer waiting the entity to kill me :))))

  • It's to get people to leave. End game currently is very survivor sided that they can hold the game hostage and there's nothing a killer can do about it. At least now They can be put on a 3 minute timer by themselves or by the killer.

Nothing much will change apart from the hatch i believe. It'll probably be a very rare occasion to have the end game collapse claim a survivor.

The Hatch changes have made it balanced for both sides, previously it was a free escape but now it's a race to see who can find it first.

  • Will see the only thing that i want its that the doors arent too close to each other and trapper cannot put traps under the door to open the gate

Not really balanced. It will be so much easier for killers to find the hatch. It will be a free kill for the killer moste of the time.

Closing the hatch is not the same as a free kill.

If you're worried about having to open exit gates alone, i recommend more stealth Perks instead of loop- & prolong chases Perks.

I only like to play stealth. Killers can just camp the hatch and not close it. Now the killers can tage the game hostage.

When the hatch is closed the exit gates get powered you can see it in the video. It's as fair and balanced as it can be. Hatch isn't supposed to be a guaranteed escape.

  • You can? Then i will do that. Like i do now when the killer is hatch camping.

  • I love the hatch part. Hatch stand-offs were getting ridiculous.

Besides, there's also the fact that skeleton key into 3 early escapes can sort of be countered with the changes.

  • Also hatch standoffs

  • it will be good for the game, basically its adding a lot of bells and whistles (which look great, btw) to force survivors to leave and to end the annoying hatch stand-off.
