Survivors Should NOT Depip

If a killer stays within a certain radius for too long (I don’t say terror radius since it varies) around a hooked survivor, the hooked survivor should NOT depip if farmed, rehooked (tunneled), facecamped, or proxy camp killed (dies on first/second hook) within a killer’s radius. This is a MUST it doesn’t matter if the killer is “sEcUrInG” their kill. The hooked survivor can do nothing, they do not deserve to depip if they die under that circumstance.

*note: should not apply to hooks near exit gates. Also did not include DS, Deliverance + Breakdown since it does not address the new much harsher pipping.

  • The survivor failed at surviving, why should they not depip? Furthermore, this would just reward hook vultures. And lastly, if this goes through, let's also implement a no-depip condition for killers if they get no kills.

how would this reward hook vultures, explain. Face camping should not be justified with a depip. Yeah if the survivor can hook a killer it should go through you’re right. It’s not like there are other survivors the killer can chase. If the killer spent a whole game without a hook they’re clearly playing the wrong game, nice one though.

  • If the match doesn't go well for you, then you depip. I mean, that's what depips are for. If you got downed before you were able to get enough points for Evader, Lightbringer or Benevolence, then that's just how it is.

The next games will be better and you can make up for the depip.

Concerning "the hooked survivor can do nothing" - the survivor can avoid getting hooked. If you get hooked, there is always the risk that you will die on it. Therefore different playstyles exist: Some survivors play invisible Claudette with certain perks to avoid getting found, others don't have trouble with getting found early, knowing that there is the risk of an early death with a low amount of points.
