To whom would people in-game be complaining? Each other? What would be the point? The devs at least read the forum; they don't go through every chat log to see what people are complaining about.

It's not only complaining but rather whining about pointless and residentsleeper stuff or creating bait/troll threads because they think they are something funny. Ofc there are exceptions but they are rare tbh.
