DCs are caused by survivors' boredom and monotony -> solution -> GAME MODES

I see DCs in every single match!!

Survs just want some excitation ruined if downed too fast, disliked map or killer, so easily

DBD needs to take this issue seriously with new GAME MODES to provide new enjoyment forms, ofc this is a in-depth development although the only solution to save DBD from this massive issue

  • DC every match? That's odd. I havent seen a dc in more than 1/10 in the last week or two...

not lying, im level 15 surv

  • Ahhhh yeah. I'm not much higher rn. Usually around 10-6, but that may have a lot to do with it. A friend of mine is still very new, rank 16 surv, and will dc occasionally after being tunneled all game. I tell him it's still no excuse, and he DCS and quits, but I think the lack of playtime/dealing with the bad games feeds the DCs at those ranks.

Not blaming you at all, just that lower ranks seem to have much higher DC rates than the middle ground in my experience.

  • Just a heads up. With the new patch load screen error and blue screens are back at least on PS4. This is accounting for some 3vs1 2vs1 and 1vs1 matches.

  • If the game bores you, here is a pro tip: STOP PLAYING THE GAME INSTEAD OF RUINING IT FOR ALL OTHERS.

    Thanks.

  • Some disconnects are due to camping/tunneling imo

Some are just salty survivors. The kind who disconnect as soon as they're hit. Maybe they're salty for no reason, maybe they're tilted from a few bad games beforehand. Who knows.

  • When i get bored with a game, i play (or do) something else.

After posting this, i think i should say something else.

A new gamemode might be fresh, but who's to say it'll solve it?

A new gamemode will do exactly what chapter releases have been doing: Hype it up for a while.

Eventually, that gamemode will be "boring" too.

It's just like how people suggest more fear in this game: No matter how much more you put into it, whether it's fear or excitement, that extra bit will die down eventually.

And with the current playerbase's size, i don't think they can afford such an addition, though that's just speculation.

  • That's not even a reason at all and just a poor excuse. The main reasons for DCing are rather being a bad loser, being entitled af or wanna ruin the other players experience. If you feel bored or think the game is too monotonous just don't play the game. Braindead and mental people will never learn that.
