Can someone enlighten me about lag switches, please?

Is this something considered as lag switch or lag spike?

I keep reporting these type of games I have been in, but I am not sure it does anything or even if this is reportable. Because if it is either of those things I wouldn`t waste so much time to crate those reports from now on.

    That’s a lag switch. Lag spiking is just jumping around and having late swings and vaults and what not, but switching is more noticeable, as killers will stand still while Survivors are unable to do anything against the Killer. I hope this helped. :)

    Thank you. I read about them on this forum couple of times, but still sometimes I have hard time to tell them apart. Esp. when I am at the receiving end of it :)
