I don’t think they’d be able to liscense a game as dead as Silent Hill, due to the company behind it being scummy and firing the one person who made Silent Hill what it was.
She seemed so random and has nothing to do with the chapter at all. It was a stretch imo. Should've been another person from that actual time period that actually had anything whatsoever to do with the lore.

An ancient (or however old the Plague is) survivor would have been really great. It's strange how they keep alternating between Survivors with clear connections to the killer or the realm (Jeff visiting Ormond, Adam being in Japan) but then we get characters like Jane, Kate, and David with no discernible relationship to the lore at all.
