2v8 Trapper is a joke
Trapper in 2v8 is too weak and is absolutely not worth playing. I’ve played several matches against the Trapper—and as him—and I have to say, he’s a waste of time. He can only carry a few traps. You waste time setting them up, only for survivors to disarm them in no time flat. Even if a survivor does step in one, they get out instantly, or their teammates are right there to free them. I was in a match recently where my teammate placed traps everywhere; they were all disarmed immediately, so he got absolutely no value out of his ability (other than wasting our time). Consequently, we didn't get a single kill and only managed 8 hooks—all from my chases. Whenever I played Trapper myself, the traps were always gone right away, too. The Trapper really needs buffs that allow him to carry more traps, or make it take longer to disarm them—let alone escape from them. Or maybe have them enter the dying state upon escaping, like with that one add-on. But please, just make him a bit stronger. He’s actually a really cool character; it’s just a shame he’s so ineffective.

its luck of the draw with him, but i promise you he can be why you win in 2v8. I have had many games where im not achieving much the first part of the match but if you set up right and not in the classic standard spots everyone expects traps ypou can absolutely snowball into traps going off constantly.
Its not gonna be every match but he really can be one of the most oppressive snowballers in 2v8 once your set up right and a chain of traps start if you and your teamate can capitalize on it
Bro does not know how to play trapper. It's really easy to win as him if you know what you are doing.
Just won two days ago as Trapper with Xenomorph teammate. Got about five survivors to step on traps and even the Xeno player told me I played well. One point in the match we snowballed so much that they had like only two survivors who either were not dead or in a cage.
Trapper is VERY feast or famine. i agree that he needs a few adjustments, but he can easily be made broken so have to be careful.
he's also quite difficult to play. takes a lot of game knowledge.
the worst Trapper games are the ones where a scout follows you the entire game. they reveal you all match and contest all your traps.
