Just make Add-ons basekit on weaker killers.
I do not understand why we cannot just give Ghost Face the entirety of Philly or Matchbook. The following changes will literally not effect the meta in ANY way and instead is aimed towards minor QoL numbers buffs to weak killers that should be easy to implement.
The Ghost Face:
- Philly, Matchbook, Cologne, Cinch Straps, Leather Knife Shealth.
Very minor and simple QoL updates being increased crouch speed, stalk speed, stalk cool down decrease, increased mark duration, and no longer losing power on missed basic attacks.
The Hag:
- Cypress Necklet, Dragonfly Wings, Half Eggshell,
More QoL by no longer feeling the need to use numbers add-ons in order to make her feel faster to play, I will not suggest Hag be 4.6 as I think she works just fine 4.4
The Trapper
- Iridesent stone, Coffee Grounds, Fastening Tools, Makeshift Wrap
Iri stone might be a stretch but I've never seen a trapper not use it so might as well make it basekit. Coffee Grounds + Fastening tools help chase and early game. Makeshift Wrap is insane that its not basekit, why doesn't Hag trigger her traps? Or why doesn't SM get claw traps?
The Trickster
- Revert to 4.6
Shouldn't have to say that a killer that doesn't have a free injury or insane map pressure should be 4.6
The Intro
- Remove Lullaby, Bloody Fingernails partially basekit
With a lullaby she is literally just a m1 killer with mediocre stealth and slightly above average map pressure
These are some simple changes that will make the killers feel a lot less punishing to play by increasing their numbers a bit in order to increase add-on variety. Again none of these changes will instantly make the killers become insane, they're simply meant so the killer can compete against competent teams.

Basically every ghostface add you listed except the cinch straps has had its base kit effect buffed on the killer several times. Before 5.3.0 his recharge time was 30 seconds. 7.0.0 increased crouch speed by .2 m/s, recharge time down to 20 seconds from 24. 8.4.0 buffed recharge time down to 17 seconds second and mark time down to 4.5 seconds. 9.6.0 reduced recharge time down to 15 seconds and 9.6.1 gave him another .2m/s crouch move speed.
They have given him the entirety of these addons effects over the years, several times over. Matchbooks reduction has never been more than 6 seconds in any patch and his basekit used to be 30 seconds. He's at 15 basekit now. These buffs would be meaningless.
Same thing applies to the hag addons you mentioned. Basekit used to be 32 meters base, its now 48 meters, setting time was something like 4-5 seconds per trap, and duration was 5 seconds. All of these thigns have been buffed at one point or another, the remaining increase granted by the addons is so small that it doesn't even matter very much.
Trapper definately could use some kind of iri stone basekitting though, that addon is basically mandatory.
Whether a killer is 4.4 vs 4.6 is determined by the oppressiveness of their power in chase, not their map pressure. Trickster has a very powerful chase power, any loop without tall walls is completely useless against him and even ones with tall walls he can often slowly grind you down by getting a couple knife hits here and there. It's a very potent chase power with a lot of zoning potential, that's why he's 4.4.
As for onryo, I believe the devs are happy with where onryo is at and that according the data she performs well.
Just because a killer has received a lot of buffs, especially making addons partially basekit, does not make them good. Ghostface has received all those buffs and yet is still considered a bottom 3 killer. While personally I would maybe pick a couple different addons for Ghostface and maybe make some of them partial basekit rather than full basekit, a series of buffs without reworking his entire identity is needed.
I do agree with you on Trickster, however. Yes Trickster isn't the most powerful killer overall, but his chase is pretty good already. Maybe making him 4.6 could be going down a similar route to clown where your downs are fast enough to make up for the lack of map control? But I think slapping 4.6 on a 4.4 killer should be thought through and tested.
As for Onryo, the devs constantly look at numbers and spreadsheets to determine changes. According to kill rates, Ghostface is also doing fine. This is because these killers do better against newer, more unaware and confused players, and the game should not be balanced around that. In addition, Onryo I would argue on the average map may be slightly weaker than even Ghostface, but her design becomes problematic on two-story maps, as spamming teleports as soon as TVs turn on make it borderline impossible for survivors to actually get a tape, and every teleport applies condemned across two floors, creating a playstyle of spamming the teleports until someone inevitably is fully condemned and then permanently taking them out of the game in just one chase. Her design is on average extremely weak, but also problematic and boring and needs to be reworked, which is funny because she already got reworked, but that's the same with Skull Merchant who is getting a rework soon.
Those are not changes they need. They need power overhaul.
Trapper - starts with all traps, set traps by button press, reset by button press, gain 15 % haste when setting and resetting traps.
Hag - 20s cooldown ability to teleport to any chosen map, removal of trap wiping, shorter trigger range so she can better utilize increased lunge
Ghostface - I think he should have basekit scratch mirror myers ability and instadown any survivor while in chase without needing to mark them. Good and safe start.
Trickster - as much as I hate him because there is no interactivity neither fun versing him along with Knight nad First who are only three killers I'm bored going against I agree he's weak. But Trickster got some sizeable buffs for being 4.4 and on lot of maps with low tiles there is practically nothing you can do against him other than holding w, losing line of sight and hoping that you will delay the down. If any change is done to Trickster I'd like to see him being more "skillfull" by making so consecutive misses reduce the amount of laceration he deals while consecutive hits increase it. Let's say he hits you with 4 consecutive hits that would deal 6 laceration tokens while if he hits every 8th blade it will only deal partial tokens. I think everyone would be happy with that change, because it would reward good play rather than spamming.
