Advanced Tutorial Mode
I think DBD should add an Advanced Tutorial Mode for people who already know the basics but actually want to get better at the game.
The current tutorials are good for learning what the buttons do, but they don’t really teach you how to play properly once you understand the basics.
For example, Survivor tutorials could teach things like:
- How to loop different types of tiles
- How to use pallets properly
- How to mindgame the Killer
- When to pre-drop a pallet
- How to take protection hits
- How to do flashlight saves
- How to dodge certain Killer powers
- How to know when to leave a loop
- How to run common structures like shack
And for Killers:
- How to mindgame loops
- How to pressure multiple generators
- When to leave a chase
- How to use your power effectively
- How to play around pallets and windows
- How to deal with strong Survivor loops
- Killer-specific tutorials for things like Nurse blinks, Blight rushes, Huntress hatchets, Trapper traps, etc.
It could even have practice challenges where the game gives you a specific situation and you have to complete it.
For example:
Trapper Challenge: Catch a Survivor using a trap at a loop.
Nurse Challenge: Blink through a wall and hit the Survivor.
Survivor Challenge: Loop the Killer around shack for 30 seconds.
I think this would be really useful because a lot of players want to improve but don’t necessarily know what they’re doing wrong. You shouldn’t have to learn everything from YouTube or hundreds of hours of playing.
It would also make the game more welcoming for newer players while still giving experienced players a way to practise specific mechanics.

I honestly think this isn’t so bad since we all know that the tutorial isn’t he greatest and I would to see bhvr give the tutorial a refresh to help Atleast give new players a better chance
