I would like to suggest an original Survivor concept for Dead by Daylight

Hello, Dead by Daylight Team!

I would like to suggest an original Survivor concept for Dead by Daylight — Robert “Ray” Morgan, an experienced rescue worker who has spent years working in dangerous situations and saving people when everything goes wrong.

The concept focuses on calmness under pressure, resilience, first aid, and evacuating teammates from dangerous situations.

ROBERT “RAY” MORGAN

Survivor

Age: 44
Height: Around 180 cm
Build: Average, sturdy
Occupation: Rescue Worker
Archetype: Experienced Rescue Worker / Emergency Response Specialist

“I’m not a hero. I’m just the guy who knows what to do when everyone else starts panicking.”

APPEARANCE

Robert is a middle-aged man with an average, sturdy build, a short haircut, and a slight touch of gray at his temples.

He has a short, slightly unkempt beard, a stern and observant expression, and several old scars on his face and hands.

He looks like someone who has spent many years working in difficult and dangerous environments and has learned to remain calm when situations become critical.

He wears:

  • a dark work jacket;
  • a faded T-shirt;
  • practical work trousers;
  • heavy-duty boots;
  • old protective gloves;
  • a small medical pouch attached to his belt.
BACKSTORY

Robert Morgan has worked as a rescue worker for many years.

Fires, car accidents, collapsed buildings, search-and-rescue operations — he has seen enough situations where a single mistake could cost someone their life.

Over time, Robert learned one simple rule:

Panic never helps.

When everyone else starts shouting and running around, he assesses the situation.

When someone is injured, he provides medical assistance.

When the way out seems too dangerous, he finds another way to get people out.

Robert has never considered himself a hero.

To him, saving people is simply a job that someone has to do.

One day, during a search operation, Robert entered a forest looking for a missing person.

He found only tracks.

The deeper he went, the thicker the fog became.

Robert stopped.

Something was wrong.

The forest was completely silent.

He trusted his instincts.

But it was already too late.

The Fog surrounded him.

When Robert opened his eyes again, he was standing beside a campfire.

Several strangers were sitting around it.

Then he heard a scream coming from somewhere deep in the forest.

Robert looked toward the sound, adjusted the medical pouch on his belt, and quietly said:

“Alright. Let’s see who needs pulling out this time.”

UNIQUE PERKS

🩸 1. “HARDENED”

“You don't have to be fearless. You just have to keep working.”

After being injured, Hardened activates.

While the perk is active:

  • the volume of your grunts of pain is reduced by 50%;
  • your self-healing speed is increased by 10%;
  • while healing another Survivor while injured, your healing speed is increased by an additional 10%.

After the perk expires, it goes on cooldown for 60 seconds.

Concept

Robert can continue helping others even when he himself has been injured.

🩹 2. “FIRST AID”

“Stabilize first. Figure out the rest later.”

When another Survivor within 24 meters becomes injured or is unhooked, their aura is revealed to you for 5 seconds.

If you begin healing that Survivor within 15 seconds of the perk activating:

  • your healing speed is increased by 6 / 8 / 10%;
  • Skill Checks during the healing action become slightly more difficult;
  • hitting a Great Skill Check instantly adds an additional 2% progress to the healing action.

After you completely heal that Survivor, they gain Haste for 3 seconds.

After successfully completing the heal, the perk goes on cooldown for:

60 / 50 / 40 seconds.

Concept

Robert immediately notices someone who needs help and follows a practiced emergency procedure:

Spot them → reach them → stabilize them → get them back on their feet.

🚑 3. “EVACUATION”

“First, we get them out of here. Then we figure out the rest.”

After unhooking another Survivor, if the Killer is within your Terror Radius, Evacuation activates for 8 seconds.

While the perk is active:

  • your movement speed is increased by 5%;
  • the healing speed of the unhooked Survivor is increased by 15%;
  • the auras of nearby Windows and Pallets are revealed to both you and the rescued Survivor.

The effect ends if the rescued Survivor is fully healed.

After the perk ends, it goes on cooldown for:

60 / 50 / 40 seconds.

Concept

Robert is used to getting people out of dangerous areas.

The closer the danger gets, the faster he acts.

Unhook → assess the situation → evacuate the teammate.

CHARACTER PHILOSOPHY

🩸 “Hardened”

He keeps helping even when he is injured.

🩹 “First Aid”

He knows how to properly treat an injured person.

🚑 “Evacuation”

He knows how to get people out of dangerous situations.

Robert isn't a superhero.

He doesn't have supernatural abilities.

His strength is his experience, composure, resilience, and instinct to help others.

“I’m not a hero. I’m just the guy who knows what to do when everyone else starts panicking.”

Thank you for taking the time to read this concept. I would love to see a Survivor built around the idea of an experienced rescue worker whose abilities focus on keeping teammates alive and getting them out of dangerous situations.
