The Nurse Quality-of-Life Concept: "Fluid Fatigue"

An idea to modernize The Nurse and make her feel fluid like The Blight, without changing her core balance or muscle memory and say goodbye to motion sickness:

- Fluid Exhaustion (Inspired by The Blight): Instead of an abrupt, violent camera-lock to the floor, her head gently and organically sags downward from exhaustion, matching her fatigue gasp.
- Dynamic Camera Control: While she is fatigued and her head naturally sags, the player is not completely locked. You maintain slight control to tilt and turn the camera, allowing you to loosely track Survivors with your eyes instead of being artificially blinded.
- Keep the Muscle Memory: Her movement speed penalty, blink charge times, and the exact duration of the fatigue remain 100% identical.

Why this works:
It perfectly preserves the atmosphere of a tired, breathless Nurse, but removes the frustrating, robotic "camera-whip" to the floor, making her much more accessible and enjoyable to learn without changing her balance.

As someone who loves looking behind the scenes of DBD's game code and design, I think we can all agree that The Nurse feels incredibly clunky in the modern state of the game. The current fatigue mechanic -forcefully ripping the player's camera to the ground- feels like a rigid relic from 2016. It doesn't just feel frustratingly unorganic, it also causes genuine motion sickness and headaches for many players due to the sudden, repetitive camera drops.

  • Although this would definitely be a nice QoL change for the nurse, as her camera animation after blinking can feel a bit jank and it can be annoying being unable to look up, it is still a buff. The small, simple change so that Nurse can see her target in that time period is actually a decent buff, especially in scenarios where she only has to recharge 1 blink, as it makes it much easier to track what obstacles a survivor runs behind. Although I think this would be a nice change for the playing experience for the killer player, Nurse is already the strongest killer in the game and in need of nerfs, so I think this would have to come whenever BHVR nerfs Nurse.
