Killer idea for a form of weapon roulette for power
Original character, Edgar Voss
Appearance: An average sized man, approximately five feet, nine inches tall, wearing an expensive black and grey silk suit and wearing a short top hat as well as thin, white, silk gloves and a monocle over his left eye with several zooming lenses for magnifying small objects. Pale skin and platinum grey hair.
Name: The Curator
Part of: Relics of Eternity
Height: Medium
Terror Radius: 28m
Speed: 4.4m/s
Killer Power: Grand Collection.
Edgar Voss, Archduke of Flaversham and head curator of the Flaversham Museum, has spent his life surrounded by relics and artifacts from across human history. Among the countless treasures he has encountered, a select few captured his attention — and he went to extraordinary lengths to make them his own.
Now, after making a deal with a higher being, Voss has access to his greatest collection yet. However, even he cannot choose which masterpiece will be granted to him when he calls upon it.
Blind Selection
Press the Activate Ability button to randomly retrieve one Relic from the Grand Collection.
The Curator cannot perform basic attacks while Empty-Handed.
Once Blind Selection finishes and a Relic is equipped, Blind Selection enters a 15-second cooldown before another Relic can be selected.
While Empty-Handed, The Curator cannot attack, movement speed is increased to 4.6 m/s, break actions are performed 20% faster, and stun recovery is reduced by 25%
Each Relic grants a basic attack and a unique secondary ability
All Relics belong to one of four rarity classifications: Antique, Superior, Priceless, and Forbidden
The higher the rarity of the Relic, the lower the chance of receiving it through Blind Selection.
Closing Exhibit
Every Relic has an Exhibit Duration of 45 seconds.
When the timer expires, The Curator returns the Relic to his collection and becomes Empty-Handed.
Once a Relic is discarded, it enters a Recollection Period, preventing it from being selected again until the timer expires.
The length of the Recollection Period depends on the Relic’s rarity:
Antique
- 30 seconds
Superior
- 60 seconds
Priceless
- 90 seconds
Forbidden
- 120 seconds
Preservation
While carrying a survivor, the Closing Exhibit timer of the currently equipped Relic is paused.
The timer resumes once the survivor is hooked, the survivor escapes the carry, or The Curator drops the survivor.
Relics
Antique(35%):
The Executioner’s Blade. A large cleaver-like blade of black metal made for royal death in an age long past.
Secondary ability: Killer’s Mark. Survivors hit by an attack with this Relic are marked until healed or until the Closing. Marked survivors are inflicted with Mangled and Hemorrhaging, and give Killer Instinct for the first 5 seconds when they start healing themselves.
War General’s Saber. A thin, finely crafted sword, made as a gift from an emperor to his top general, who never lost a battle.
Secondary ability: Tactical Oppression. After basic breaking a pallet or breakable wall, gain 7% haste for 5 seconds and 5% increased vault speed for 30 seconds.
Mad Sculptor's Chisel. A chisel belonging to an obsessive artist who’d kill to keep their creations perfect.
Secondary ability: Crazed Perfection. After pressing the Activate Ability Button, for 15 seconds, gain 15% attack miss recovery speed and 35% longer lunge attack distance.
Mechanical Spear. An invention well ahead of its time, with the ability to turn its tip into a retrievable projectile.
Secondary ability: press the secondary ability button to aim, then press the attack button while aiming to fire the spear’s tip attached to a chain that extends 7 meters. Hitting a survivor with it injures them or inflicts deep wounds if they are already injured. Two second cooldown after firing (for the retraction animation). While aiming, The Curator’s movement speed is reduced to 3.806m/s.
Eye of Horus. A cane with the eye of a god engraved on the handle, supposedly belonging to a fabled prophet long ago.
Secondary ability: After pressing the Activate Ability Button, for 5 seconds, see the aura of all survivors within 7 meters of The Curator.
Superior(30%):
Theatrical Dagger. What was supposed to be a fake knife for an opera now is stained with the blood of several singers and actors.
Secondary ability: Press and hold the secondary ability button to choose a place within 5 meters in front of The Curator to place an illusionary duplicate of yourself that lingers for 10 seconds. Survivors that come within a 2 meter radius of it scream and reveal their aura for 5 seconds. The illusion stands stationary, does not attack, and has a red stain, but no terror radius.
Bronze Compass Dial. A large metal blade from a compass said to point towards your greatest obsession.
Secondary ability: When a survivor performs a loud action within a 15 meter radius of The Curator, The Curator may teleport to a general area 5 meters away from where the loud action took place. This ability then goes on cooldown for 15 seconds.
The Alchemist’s Vessel. A container holding dark writings, sealed away to be forgotten by all, fashioned into a bludgeon.
Secondary ability: When hit by this Relic, survivors gain Corrupted for 20 seconds. While Corrupted, survivors vault 10% slower, heal 15% slower, and bless/cleanse totems 20% slower.
Loyal Hatchet. A sharp tool loved so much by its owner, it acts on its own to serve its master.
Secondary ability: press the secondary ability button to aim, then press the attack button while aiming to throw the hatchet, injuring a survivor if connecting with them or downing them if they are already injured, then taking 1.5 seconds of recovery to return to The Curator’s hand. While aiming, The Curator’s movement speed is reduced to 3.806m/s.
Priceless(18%):
Leviathan Fang. A tooth from a beast long forgotten.
Secondary ability: Hunger. Each attack with this Relic gives The Curator a stackable speed boost (+1% haste for each hit) that remains until the Leviathan Fang is no longer Equipped. The stackable haste is removed the moment Leviathan Fang is Unequipped.
Hourglass Cane: An old walking cane, used by the leader of an ancient city, that contains one of the first time recording inventions.
Secondary ability: When injuring a survivor with this Relic, they gain 7% Hindered for 3 seconds. If they perform a rushed action or drop a pallet within 10 seconds of being hit, The Curator gains 5% haste for 10 seconds.
Warden’s Key. A rather large key with a sharpened point that once belonged to a medieval prison warden who supposedly was able to walk through the shadows of his jail walls.
Secondary ability: press the secondary ability button to create a Locked Point at The Curator’s current position. The Keyhole stays at its location until this ability is used to teleport to the Locked Point. Survivors and The Curator can both see it as a large glowing keyhole floating in the air just above the ground. The Locked Point remains where it is until used, even if Warden’s Key is Unequipped and later Equipped again. Once the Locked Point is used, it disappears and a new one can be placed with Warden’s Key, but only after the first one has been used.
Forbidden(12%):
When The Curator is granted one of the Forbidden Relics, a loud sound notification is played throughout the entire trial to alert all survivors of his newly Equipped weapon.
Angelic Feather Fan. A traditional hand fan made from thin metal blades and laid with pure white feathers that seem to glow slightly.
Secondary ability: press the secondary ability button to aim within a 10 meter radius, then press the attack button while aiming to create a 0.5m by 0.5m circular pillar of light that lasts for 1.5 seconds. If a survivor comes into contact with the pillar, they are injured and are afflicted with deep wounds and Oblivious for 15 seconds, the survivor is downed and inflicted with Oblivious instead if they are already injured.
The Final Piece. A walking staff once belonging to Edgar Voss himself, now engraved with carvings of The Entity’s claws all over it.
Secondary ability: press and hold down the secondary ability button to charge up a jumping lunge. Survivors hit with the lunge are immediately downed and the closest survivor within 15 meters screams and reveals their location for 2 seconds. Missed jumping lunges have a recovery time of 3 seconds. Jumping lunges turn rate is significantly less (similar to Demogorgon’s Shred)
Perks
Immaculate Preservation
After a survivor is hooked, this perk activates for 20/30/40 seconds.
While active, survivors inside a 28 meter radius of the hooked survivor suffer 10% slower repair, healing, cleansing, and blessing speed. And the hooked survivor’s aura is hidden from survivors outside of the 28 meter radius.
“If you lay a single fingerprint on that treasure, I’ll tear you apart with my bare hands.” - Edgar Voss
Museum Rules
After a generator reaches 90/80/70%, any survivor repairing it will face a difficult skill check. If the survivor fails the difficult skill check, the generator explodes, loses 6% progress, and the survivor’s aura is revealed to you for 4 seconds.
“No running, children. If any of these priceless artifacts break because of your clumsiness, it’ll be your head.” - Edgar Voss
Master Archivist
Each time a survivor fails a skill check, gain a token, up to 5.
For each token, basic attacks have 1/2/3% faster recovery and make scratch marks visible for 1 second longer.
“Documentation, the only true way anything can be remembered until the end of time.” - Edgar Voss

Lore
Since the day he was born, Edgar Voss possessed an unusual fascination with preserving ordinary objects. As a child, he would quietly take a teapot from his mother's kitchen, a wrench from his father's garage, or a brush from his nanny's paint set, storing each one away where it could never be misplaced or damaged.
Becoming the head curator at the Flaversham Museum was the job of his dreams, and one he’d spent years reaching for through his grade schooling and university. He worked himself to the bone, learning the arts of artifact preservation and ancient histories so he would be flawless in his work.
For years, he was the well-known head and face of the museum. His love for history made his job enjoyable, his adoration for preservation made even the worst days bearable. But when a group of foolish young adults had snuck into the museum after hours one night as a prank, they had accidentally broken a display case and ancient ceramic vase. Upon discovering the mess and the group of trespassers, Voss was overcome with rage. Using his heirloom walking cane, he descended upon the group of trespassers in a fit of uncontrollable rage, bludgeoning them until he stood in a massive pool of blood, every last person before him crumpled to the floor, dead.
And with that violent outburst and murderous action, Edgar Voss discovered something new: the complete silence after. Total stillness, no careless hands trying to break anything, no accidents, and it was amazing. The museum was finally perfect. He loved the silence that fell after. His collection was safe and protected, just as it should be. And he now knew just how far he’d go to preserve his collection. He was so lost in thought, he didn’t notice the cold dark fog starting to cover the floor.
A voice called out to him, speaking softly, offering a deal, promising a collection of relics beyond anything he’d ever imagined, a collection needing preservation and protection, a deal he happily accepted. Soon, he found himself in a whole new place, a place outside of time, of decay, of rot, where a relic could be preserved forever and never turn to dust. And before him, gathered around a campfire, sat four imperfect specimens. The relics he had been promised would finally allow him to preserve them properly, and they would be flawless, just as history intended.
