Jason teleport indicator just lying to me???

I would aim to teleport at a teleport position like a window thats right infront of me, see the preview jason vault through it, and the game sends me to some pallet or window outside of my field of view that I didnt even aim at, sometimes behind me or through several floors. Why does it do that? Also has anyone else been experiencing major lag since the event ended or is it just me because my ping has been fluctuating so hard im being accused of hacks.

    If you do it fast while still moving or panning your view around it sometimes takes the last one you saw before the one you chose. It usually only does it when you do it fast and I think its just the server not keeping up with what you were looking at.
